“When things become overwhelming, the answer isn’t more motivation, more effort, or better planning — the answer is to begin subtracting.” This quote from @philosophyofleisure really hits right now.

It’s been 6 years and these messages still light me up every time ☺️🥰

Since Zakynthos is on my mind now.. for anyone traveling in Europe this Greek Island is one of the few with a direct flight from Amsterdam and other major cities (no ferries necessary!) so convenient to combine with another destination.

Still one of the most incredible beach destinations I’ve ever visited - who knows the location? 👀

Truth: I could fill an entirely new account solely with food photos 🧀 🍅 🥖

On my first trip to Vietnam I ate ~12 passion fruits at my hotel’s breakfast buffet each morning, until the last morning when the passion fruit was missing from the buffet. I asked the waitress about it and she said they were ‘completely out’, which was ‘strange because they buy a lot’. Caught the same waitress and a couple other staff members whispering and looking over at me a minute later. My only regret is not eating more so they planned accordingly

Letting some of my favorite horizontal photos have a moment here… ✨

Is anyone in Greece right now and how are the crowds? Also, please have a bite of souvlaki for me

Hi I’m Selena 👋🏼 I am a travel photographer and blogger. I left my home state of California back in 2016 to travel and live abroad in Amsterdam. I’ve been fortunate enough to explore a lot of Europe since then! I am passionate about sharing travel + photo tips, inspiring images and places I visit. I’m looking forward to sharing some more (unfiltered) moments on here, and connecting on a new level. Let’s see where this takes us! 📷

Since I gave up on tiktok this feels like redemption

Just started scrolling through my iPhone photos to share an inspiring travel image and realized they are buried in 13,267 baby photos. Oops.

Playing with film in Mallorca, Spain last summer. Only just developed the rolls 🎞️
