We Germans love our bread! 🍞🥐🥖🥨🥯 This cute little old fashioned bakery illustration will be available as a limited, high quality gicleé print very soon. 🍞🥐🥖🥨🥯 You can get it in my etsy store when I will reopen it this Saturday 5PM CET. Do you want to see more interior illustrations by me? If yes: any suggestions what I could paint? I'm grateful for your ideas! . . #bakery #bread #illustration #illustratorsoninstagram #watercolor #kidlitillustration #kidlitart #drawinh #painting #interior #interiorillustration #characterdesign

Imaginary Irish town inspired by Cork and Dublin. Oh I miss Ireland so much!!! 💚☘🇮🇪 Its finally a bigger and more complex painting since my artblock and I'm really happy how it turned out. Hope you like it too.☺ ➡️Swipe for details➡️ . I also recorded the process while painting it but its soo much video material that it's going to be a lot of work editing it. And because I don't want to waste my time doing this, I ask you if you would be interested in watching a process video of it? Would you prefer a short one for instagram or a longer one for YT? Or something else? Please let me know in the comments below this picture. If there are enough people who are interested in it I will take the time to edit 😅 . . #Ireland #irishtown #cork #dublin #painting #illustration #art #illustratorsoninstagram #kidlitillustration #kidlitart #watercolors #coloredpencils #watercolour

Finally I was able to finish this illustration. This is inspired by a fisherman I have seen in Kerry, Ireland during my vacation last autumn. Would you hang up a motif like this up on your wall? I am not sure if I should make prints of it. . . #fisherman #ireland #seagulls #watercolours #watercolors #illustration #art #illust #fisherboat #watercolors #coloredpencils #kerry

See how I made the Easter card which I posted last week on my main channel. It's so much fun to use this paper stencil technique. But also not easy to cut such small parts. You can see some of my stencil experiments in my new art book. Do you like watching this technique? I don't know why, but I find it very satisfying for some reason. . #wip #stencil #stencilart #printmaking #monoprint #papercraft #cardmaking #illustration #DIY #diycrafts

Here's a sneak peek of my new art book "Hideaways: More Art from Iraville", which was recently published.⬆️Link in my bio⬆️. You will find many new artworks which i did not publish before, including some of my personal favorites, along with behind the scenes, sketches, tutorials and much more. Happy Easter!! 🐣 I continued to experiment with my stencil technique. The result is this Easter card. It was a bit of a challenge to cut the small shapes into the paper, but it worked out wonderfully in the end! Please write a comment if you are interested in a making-of video of this. ⬇️ . . #happyeaster #easter #stencilart #stencils

My second Art Book "Hideaways - More Art from Iraville" is available now (first link in bio)! "Hideways" is packed with galleries of my latest and best work, many of which have never been seen before, including pieces I created especially for the book, but also sketches and experimental work I have not published anywhere until now. What's more, you'll find brand new step-by-step tutorials: My way to paint with watercolor, how I use colour, an in-depth tutorial about how to  approach the negative painting technique, and one that shows you how to easily make your own ink from pigments. And you can discover even more insights that I haven't shared in this depth anywhere else! And, last but not least, the book contains a foreword by one of my favourite artists: @loisvb 🧡 A note: few people have received books that were not printed well. If this happens to you, please just return the books and you will receive high-quality copies. Of course, this is definitely a mistake and an absolute exception. Out of curiosity: Who of you already owns one? And if so: Do you like it? . . #artbook #watercolor #illustration #forest #characterdesign #aquarell #hideaways

To relax, I often like to paint landscapes intuitively without any sketch, preliminary drawing or plan. While painting, I look at how the colors flow and where shapes form and follow my intuition. Here are 2 of them that I have painted alternately. I'm not sure which one I like better, which one would be your pick? . . #watercolor #watercolorpainting #trees #landscape #forest #aquarell #gouache #illustration ##watercolorlandscape
