Mr and Mrs Overland-Farstad❤️

So happy to have another son in law in my life! @bendikfa I so enjoyed a recent glorious visit to wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen to celebrate the marriage of my middle daughter, @cordeliaoverland to Bendik. It was a small intimate ceremony at the stunning civic hall in Copenhagen. This was a great opportunity to meet and get to know the Skandia family. The bigger party will be next year. 🥂

You are never too old and it’s never too late! A few clips down memory lane: first clip is of the skydiving team I was in - Jersey Beans -getting gold in 2019! I started skydiving when I was 40 and a mother of 3 children. For someone who was scared of heights and avoided all fairground rides (still do!!) this was a huge achievement. At 50 I faced another fear and that was two wheels! I finally got my heavy bike license after 3 attempts. Now at 60, I have sold up, got out of all debt and starting a new exciting adventure! Never stop dreaming and imagine you are already doing and living your best life. Feel it, breath it, smell it, imagine you are telling your friends your adventures and dreams as if they are real. Your subconscious doesn’t know you are ‘lying.’ By changing your frequency to excitement and joy, you will be matched with the same frequency all around you. Enjoy the ride!

I am looking forward to my next dog finding me! My last dog, Milo, was with me for nearly 20 years. He was a rescue pup I had from 4 months old and was the best dog I have ever had. He is a tough act to follow and I still miss him.

A little bit is glamour and history this evening at the Parador de La Gomera #paradordelagomera

Will you acquiesce without question next time??? Or will you stand in your power and say: ‘I DO NOT CONSENT!’

manifestacion (demonstration) in San Sebastián yesterday protesting about the Flamboyan trees being cut down (they are the ones with beautiful orange flowers). More of a story behind this. Great to see the people coming out and making a stand. The Canary Islands have been experiencing the Calima over he last few days which is a wind from the Sahara bringing hot wind and fine sand particles. Finding shade from trees was even more important. #flamboyán #lagomeraisland

Morning swim at El Pescante, Hermigua Having lived in Jersey for many years, I was spoilt for choice with its beautiful beaches. Coming to an island where the sand is black and a lot of the beaches are full of pebbles and stones took some getting used to! My local pool in Hermigua, lends itself to being more ‘brutalist’ than beautiful! However, it’s rugged raw charm has certainly grown on me. The 4 concrete pillars are remnants from a bygone era when this area was used by ships as a loading station. I can’t imagine how difficult this must have been as the sea is pretty wild in this area. The pool isn’t without its danger; freak waves have been known to sweep unsuspecting swimmers out to sea. Caution and understanding the sea and weather conditions is a must. There is an advantage to this as only the real intrepid visitor finds this place. A lot of the time I have the pool to myself. #hermigua #exitthegame #secondhalfisthebesthalf

Update from the canaries

A day in the ‘big city’ of San Sebastián today! It’s all relative, when you are living a more simple quiet life, spending a day with a little more hussle and bussle is great.

Sunday morning hike to Fortaleza Chipude. When I first visited La Gomera I saw this incredible mountain which looked like a giant tree stump. I have wanted to climb it for a while. Today was the day! It was very windy which added to the challenge of the climb. The first part of the climb was great. However, the middle part was very challenging and not for the faint hearted and those who suffer from vertigo! I nearly lost my nerve and decided the best plan was to stop and take a breath and have some coffee! There is evidence of ancient aboriginal inhabitants. It was known as a sanctuary for the people of that time escaping from what, we don’t know…. Seeing the clouds pouring over the mountains, was quite otherworldly.

Hello from The Canaries! We are not roasting here as your tel-lie-vision is telling you!! The whole climate change agenda, net zero, co2 etc etc is a huge subject with many different facets. I am not going to cover it all here. I have found that the best way for people to find the truth is to do their own research rather than demand from the ‘sharer’ where’s your source, where’s the evidence. Here are a few pointers for you to start with on your own journey: 1. WEF agenda 2030. Who are the WEF? Did you elect any of their members? 2. The WHO - who are the members? Who funds it? Did you elect any of the members? 3. What is DARPA and HAARP 4. Who is funding the ‘science’. 5. What does net zero really mean. 6. What is the percentage of co2 currently in our atmosphere and what happens if it dips below a certain percentage. 7. Solar cycles of the sun, El Nino, The Dalton minimum, cloud seeding, weather manipulation. This is enough to be getting on with! Good luck and start planting and storing food if you havnt already…..
