Important!! Every trekker should be mindful about potential of altitude sickness and be prepared for it. While prevention is the best option, identifying symptoms and making the right decision is very important. Look what we found, on our way back from Machhapuchhre Base Camp! Before, we'd found a nest with eggs on a slope in Chomro, this time there were chicks while we were coming down from Nause Kharka. #nature #birds #machhapuchhrebasecamp #nausekharka #monsoon #green #travel #explore #nepal #ghumante

I think mountains are the real happy pills. Trekking to Everest Base Camp had been a dream I carried for years. Since I first started traveling, this was always the one. Gokyo Ri, with its surreal views and teasing peeks of Everest along the way, felt like a dream unraveling step by step. Up there, everything slows down your thoughts, your heartbeat, your doubts. You don’t have to chase happiness anymore… it comes to you, quietly, with every breath of that cold, clean air. The trails are perfect well-facilitated, friendly lodges, people from around the world walking with the same awe in their eyes. And in between it all, you catch those magical, fleeting glimpses of the mighty Everest. That alone is enough to remind you: you’re in a sacred place. Standing there, surrounded by glaciers, snow peaks, prayer flags dancing in the windI couldn’t help but smile. Not because something happened, but because being here was enough. This wasn’t just a trek. It was something personal. A reminder that dreams can take time, but when they arrive, they’re worth every single wait. Couldn’t be happier. And to Everest ——— will see you again. #GokyoRi #EverestBaseCamp #MountainsAreMyHappyPills #DreamComeTrue #EBCtrek #NepalTrekking #HikeToHeal #EverestCalling #TravelNepal #WanderWithHeart #TrekkingAdventures #SoulInTheMountains
