Wishing everyone a blessed Ramadan!🙏🏾 After my recent travels back home to Somalia, I have come to realize that my impact can extend far beyond the basketball court, especially in my home country of Somalia where I can use my resources and platform to make a difference. Providing access to education and sports for children is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. It’s, therefore, painful to know that millions of children worldwide are denied their right to education. In my home country Somalia, this is a particularly pressing issue, with only 30% of school-aged children attending primary school, perpetuating existing cycles of poverty. At @hmlacademy, my mom and I have embarked on a mission to provide free education to orphaned children in Somalia by building the Help Me Learn Academy. Our goal is to provide children with the basic necessities they need to succeed, including access to food, education, and sports. When we give to charity, we are not just giving to someone from ourselves but rather, Allah (SWT) is the One giving to them, through us. The construction of the school is almost finished, and we are asking for your generous help to make the final touches and launch education services. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow, and education is a crucial step towards building a brighter future for Somalia. Let us come together during this Ramadan to support those in need and make a positive difference in the world. Thank you for your generosity, love you all!♥️ LINK IN BIO to help donate!!🙏🏾
