Did you know that the leading cause of disease burden for women in Australia is currently dementia? ❌

Not heart disease or cancer, not back pain or anxiety… Dementia 👈🏼

But how much do you know about dementia? 
Are you under the impression that it’s just some unlucky condition that occurs with age? 

Some mysterious problem that occurs by accident?

It isn’t. Like all other conditions listed above, there are things you can encourage your clients to do to reduce their risk of developing conditions like dementia later in life; ✅ Support mitochondrial function ✅ Protect gut health ✅ Focus on neuroinflammation ✅ Enhance blood flow and neuroplasticity ✅ Reduce toxin load

In 2022, approximately 2.2 million breast augmentation procedures were performed globally. Marking a significant increase of 29% compared to the previous year.

With the dramatic rise and popularity of breast implants it’s important to understand the potential health sacrifice you’re making. 
Did you know …
 Silicone can migrate from the implant through the body and can induce a chronic inflammatory process and stimulus to the immune system. In one study, out of 99,993 individuals with silicone implants, there was: 👉🏼 6x greater risk of arthritis than the general population 👉🏼 4.5x increased risk of having a stillbirth, but not a miscarriage 👉🏼 4x greater risk of developing melanoma If you do have breast implants … Then measuring the following autoantibodies would be extremely beneficial to ensure your health is not compromised:
➡️ RF ➡️ APF ➡️ AKA ➡️ AFA ➡️ ANA ➡️ nDNA ➡️ ENA ➡️ AAT If you already have an autoimmune disease, breast implants could make your symptoms worse. If autoimmune disease runs in your family, you may be at increased risk of developing an autoimmune reaction to the silicone implant. HLA-DR53 may be a genetic marker of predisposed likelihood of developing disease to silicone implants.  Therefore testing for this prior to surgery would be a great option.
 Like any aesthetic alterations you plan to do to your body, it’s important to ask questions and do the research. So that you can ask yourself …

Is it worth it. 

Now, like most things, there’s a flip side that’s important to note … 

If an individual has had a mastectomy due to previous breast cancer and feels self-conscious, then having breast implants could potentially aide in quality and enjoyment of life. Reminding us that the balance between health and happiness is pivotal.

Women cannot fall pregnant 365 days a year and it’s important when working with any clients who wish to conceive, that you’re supporting them in every way possible … Which not only means tracking their cycle to identify their fertile window, but avoiding common contributors to infertility.

1 in 25 babies in Australia are conceived through IVF, but it doesn’t have to be that way. The average cycle of IVF in the US can exceed $20,000, whilst Australian’s pay around $15,000 per cycle. Male sperm health has declined by 63% since 1970, emphasising the need for both men and women to come to the party when trying to conceive.
