Mount Everest Official

The first day of hauling sleds up the west buttress route of Denali started under clear skies, and almost seemed like good fun… as much fun as dragging a 50kg sled can be anyway. We pushed on past the first camp, and then eventually pitched our tent as clouds enveloped us and visibility dropped to zero. It had already been a long day, but half of me wanted to push on up to the 11k/3300m camp, to get most of the sled dragging out the way and get established higher on the mountain. . In the end we spent a few days trapped in the tent, and the 6km up to 11k camp took a gruelling effort breaking trail two days later in 60cm fresh snow. Due to the deep snow we could only take a half load that time, and getting back to camp required blizzard GPS navigation in a full white out. Then it snowed again the next night and we had to break trail yet again with the other half of the loads. We then got trapped at 11k/3300m came for 7 days in blizzards… Image 1 - @robsmith_mountainguide and Valentine Fabre @tintin_des_bossons on the Kahiltna Glacier on "Ski Hill" with Begguya / Mount Hunter above the clouds in the background, Alaska range Image 2 - Rob Smith and Valentine Fabre ploughing up the Kahiltna Glacier above "Ski Hill" in 60cm fresh snow Image 3 - Climbers skiing up the serac threatened glacier above 11k camp Image 4 - Valentine Fabre at sunset at 11k camp Image 5 - Rob Smith and Valentine Fabre going a bit nuts stuck inside the tent at 11k camp during a week of storms. • @virialvarezmx What is this? 😍 I’m WORDLESS to describe the feeling of being there. The Kinshofer wall in Nanga Parbat 🏔️ is situated at 6,000 meters, just before reaching Camp 2. It poses a significant technical challenge due to the altitude and the 6 to 7 hours of climbing required to reach it. This wall has been the place where I’ve told myself, “Yes, I can do it.” 💪🏻 (more than once). The breathtaking view makes all the effort worthwhile. 📷 @gopromx 🔥🤩 Credit: @lakpatembas

Horseback riding on the Nuptse summit ridge 1. Turned out not to be the best way, so we switched to climbing in the steep face and continued to the summit. Was a great experiment though, with the best views!! Nuptse Alpine Style Expedition Supported by: @beverni 3,384 By - @christian.de.jong

Indescribable • Cerro Torre "... And so is the relationship of man to the mountain, intense and passionate. And there wherever its rocks and ice emerge, beyond the murmur and echoes of silence, just shine the flashes of firmament, the constellations, the infinity... " One left from last year when I first went and fell in love with this place! The day was windy and there were no reflections, but it was just to look for that particle among stones of calm water in the lagoon and see this ( Please, if you are going to visit the places we posted, take care of them!
