Building a dream into reality is in itself the gift. The more I grow Magic Hour, the more I realize it’s about how much grace I bring to the day, there is never a “payday” there is only how today paid (in growth, experience, expansion & connection.) I ask at night, “Did i bring harmony to my business today or did i bring unwarranted effort? Was I trying to be a hero or was my effort for all?” Effort is good unless it’s meant to garner attention for being the “hardest worker” as no one cares really if you take a day off or not! Being a martyr is tempting as we’re often raised to think the “best grades” at all costs is noble…when in actuality hard work can be easeful if we are aligned with our calling from God. I’ve been working around the clock now for almost 3 years…you’ll find me in the warehouse on weekends, balancing the budget in the wee hours of summer break, & searching for barcode scanners late at night which oddly excites me (can this scanner in warehouse B really make it that much easier?!?) At one point I realized there’s only the beauty created in the moment. Once we all work for the now, the future takes care of itself. These photo shoots I post are about 3 hours twice a year…so don’t let them fool you, the real bliss is in the moments no one sees. Keep your cup full, your dreams need you fueled!
