Early this year, one of our fans wondered how the biomorphic "Eden" structure feels like when surrounded by our signature moss wall in the Vertex, in contrast to our usual wood-root variant. We accepted the challenge and started working on it. What looked so simple took us months of computer simulation and prototyping to strike the right balance for the "Eden" structure to blend well into the moss wall, all within tight space in the glass. Our designers had to re-build the "Eden" structure from the ground up to deliver the same feelings as its original counterpart, featuring a double-layered organic design. • • • Biomorphism & Bioarchitecture Design Philosophy • • • From the womb of a loving mother, our artists created "the Vertex - Moss Wall, Heart of Eden" in the image of birthing a living miracle, all encased within a crystalline glass vessel. The cocoon-like bone lattice structure symbolizes a mother's womb that is slowly moving and evolving to support a new life miracle, surrounded and protected by a lush moss wall. As the "womb" gradually takes root on the ground, life slowly takes place in the heart of the womb, in the form of ZERO moss. The new miracle sparked life around its ecosystem, supplying lifeforce to surrounding lush greeneries, making it the Heart of Eden. The miracle is the Vertex - Heart of Eden, where life forms and gets protected. “The Colony - M” houses inner layers of rustic oak tree bark that were artisanally sliced and sculpted to form eye-catching mountainous rocky spires that rise out of the surrounding ZERO Moss specimens. Due to the very nature of moss itself, it is nearly impossible to find an exact copy of each colony. Interestingly, they may look distinctively different due to different cultivation environments, seasons, atmospheric pressure, and light intensity. We may also observe some rare morphology from time to time. ZERO Moss shall retain their initial shape and texture in the complete preservation process from our herbarium collection. As such, when we meticulously craft each of our work with ZERO Moss, a particular random combination of rare moss may end up more eye-catching than the others. Some moss and their respective structures are more challenging to be kept intact and require special care during preservation.
