What a finish to the @uci_mtbworldseries DH Season for THE SYNDICATE. Jackson Goldstone had 2 absolutely dominant runs in both the Semi’s and Finals in his home country with a time over 4 seconds faster than the next rider. Jackson finishes out his first year Elite in 2nd place in the World Cup overall, only 82 pts back from first. Unreal.🔥 Nina Hoffman finished 2nd on the day and also 2nd in the World Cup overall ✨ @lauriegreenland_ finishes the year in 13th, and @gregminnaar in 15th to help THE SYNDICATE finish the year in 1st overall in 2023 🙌 So damn proud of this whole crew, and already looking forward to the 2024 season. Details Matter | The Hidden Details • A big part of the initial phase of our bike design process is answering the question, “how we are going to squeeze all the things we want/need in this new bike model into a visually pleasing bicycle shaped end-product.” More specifically in in this case, our recently released Heckler SL lightweight ebike. Since the SL launch we have received many comments about how, ‘It looks just like a normal MTB’ or ‘It doesn’t even look like an ebike’. Even some comments from a few conspiracy theorists about how we designed it specifically to sneak it into trail areas where ebikes are not allowed (1. This was NOT part of our thought process, and 2. Don’t do that folks.) But our Engineering & Design Team did spend A LOT of time working on the total package to make it look and feel as much like a ‘normal’ mountain bike as possible because that’s what we want to ride. A natural feeling machine. A bike you ride with, not just a bike you ride on. A big part of the Heckler SL’s clever design is the @FAZUA RIDE 60 drive system which comes in a very compact form factor. But we still have to squeeze that motor, all the controls, and a battery into the finished product. Then we have to make sure the suspension system fits in there, (VPP linkage, bearings, hardware, and a rear shock) the frame geometry is dialed, and the handling characteristics are what riders expect from a well designed bike, regardless of whether or not it has some pedal assist. That’s a lot of details to squeeze into a package, that in the end, succeeds in looking and feeling like many of those components aren’t even there. And the Heckler SL has a lot of hidden details that matter. • #HecklerSL #hiddendetails
