I don’t know who needs to hear this but it will set you free. We all face disappointment at some point in life. And if we don’t know the Lord and His love for us, we will direct that disappointment at Him. Which will harden our heart towards Him in some way. And that impacts our relationship with Him which impacts our vision and how we see the world and live our life. It will cause you to see Him as untrustworthy when the truth is, He is the only one in your life who is 100% trustworthy. He is the only one who is incapable of failing you. He is always good. Always faithful. Things happen beyond our understanding. We don’t always know the full picture. We may never understand why something happened this side of eternity. Just look at Psalms and how David vented to the Lord but he never blamed him for what was happening. He vented and ended his cries with praise to the Lord, proclaiming God’s faithfulness and reminding his soul who God is. If you’ve faced disappointment and find yourself blaming God, I encourage you to repent and turn your heart back toward Him. Because again, He loves you. He is for you. He is always faithful. Always good. It’s okay to be disappointed at the situation but don’t let the enemy deceive you into blaming God. Know this….God always has a redemption plan. Read Romans 8:28. Save this as a reminder and share it with someone who needs it.

Psalm 34:4 “I sought the Lord and he freed me from all my fears.” MOTHERHOOD I want to share something that until now, only a few people close to me knew. I still don’t know where it started but for the longest time becoming a mom was my biggest fear. If I had to write out a list of my fears, this was #1. When I saw women who so badly wanted to be mothers that were struggling, I felt shame. The miracle they were waiting for, I was terrified of. January last year, before I turned 34 (hence Psalm 34), I had a moment on my couch with the Lord. I cried and said, “Lord I’m scared but your word says to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice. So I lay my life down and this fear for the sake of my legacy and the next generation.” After I found out I was pregnant, I began to renew my mind like never before. In the hospital the night I was induced I told God again that I was so scared. I don’t know if I’ll be good at this. I got on my knees in the bathroom and repented for partnering with fear. I then took communion and said Lord I am ready. You created me for this. I can do this. You are going to help me and teach me. I am so thankful I laid down that fear. Although I’ve only been a mom for 2 months, it’s been the best 2 months of my life. Elijah is my gift and reward from the Lord. Almost daily when I hold him, I cry. I’m sad I let fear rob me so many years. I tell him often, I’m sorry I was so scared to be your mommy. Now every day I want to be brave for him. I have to be. Because how can I expect him to grow up trusting God and facing fears if his mom doesn’t. He’s going to look at my example. In just 2 months, He’s taught me more about the Father’s love and heart than I’ve ever known before him. When I stare into his beautiful big blue eyes, I see heaven. It’s amazing how the thing I was most afraid of becoming has brought me the greatest uncontainable JOY! My greatest calling. I love my baby boy Elijah Julian 😭❤️ I don’t know what fear you are afraid of facing but there is something great God has for you on the other side of it. Don’t let Satan intimidate you and rob you of your breakthrough. Because your breakthrough isn’t just for you, it’s generational.

Listen to this testimony! I took this video 5 years ago today and it’s still one of the most powerful testimonies I’ve heard. A baby’s life was saved because God shared a word with this woman for a young girl who was scheduled to abort her baby the NEXT day. This was at a Power and Love conference with @toddwhitelc. After each session we had what’s called “Love in Action,” which basically means go and do what you were just equipped to do. During the sessions we learn and are equipped in hearing God’s voice for people and sharing His heart with them. This couple right here had never done this before. They were raised believing that prophecy wasn’t for today and things like this ceased. Before they went out, they prayed and asked God to show them someone He wanted to deliver a message to and the woman had a vision of a young girl who looked sad and hopeless and was about to abort her baby. I remember her saying, we looked everywhere and couldn’t find her so we headed back and then we stopped at the gas station to get some mints. Listen to what happened! ONLY GOD!!!! He so deeply cares about the unborn and has a destiny for them! And He cares about the scared mom who is believing lies from the enemy. God has a destiny for both of them!

All of creation points to the Creator. As Christians we don’t worship the universe but we worship the God who made the Universe. The one who spoke it into being with His words and who holds it in His hands. One time I had a convo with this girl who was telling me how she loves to be in nature and it makes her feel connected to the universe. I said, “I love nature too and it’s a whole different level when you connect with the one who made it.” That caught her attention. I don’t think she had heard someone say it like that to her before. I’m not going to thank “Mother Earth,” for providing for me. Earth is not a mother. I’m going to thank and praise the God who made the earth, the one who is Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides! He provides for us through the nature that He created. Next time someone says something to you similar to what this girl said to me, tell them about an even greater encounter they can have, an encounter with the God who made what they are so appreciative of. Invite them into an encounter with the Creator!

It’s one thing to talk about God’s power or read about it in the Bible, it’s another to see His power demonstrated and to be a vessel He demonstrates His power through. I don’t know about you but I don’t ever want to sit in church just learning about how He once demonstrated His power and the miracles. I want to walk in it and see it in the here and now. Because isn’t He the same yesterday, today, and forever?

A week ago today, our world changed forever! On 3/3/22 our son Elijah Julian was born at 2PM on the dot. He’s absolutely perfect and we are in love! He’s already made a big impact in this world before he arrived. His name was confirmed at a prophetic service 2 days before my baby shower on 1/27 through @prophetlovy. I had been waiting for the Lord to tell me his name. Because his maker, Yahweh, already knew him before he was in my womb. His birth story is completely different than what I expected but God was with us. Elijah is our reward and gift from the Lord! He is the arrow in this warrior’s hand. “Like arrows in the hands of warrior are children born in one’s youth.” Psalm 127:4

A simple word God spoke to me today. It’s for you too. EXPECT. I’m currently in a time of expecting a child. Other than this, I don’t really know what to expect in 2022. I’ve never been here before. So here are some of things God told me to expect this year. May you be expectant of these too! ❤️

You are WORTHY! Whether you “feel” that way or not. I’m here to tell you today my friend that your feelings are not always facts or truth. What God says about you is truth. Did you know it actually takes humility to lay down how you feel about yourself and see yourself and embrace what God says about you? YES IT DOES! You have to let go of the lies and humble yourself before your Maker and choose to believe Him. Eph. 2:10 says YOU are His masterpiece. Hebrews 12:2 says He endured the cross because YOU were the joy set before Him! 1 Peter 2:9 says YOU are royal and chosen! I had to come to a point in my life where regardless of how I felt/saw myself, I would choose to believe what God said. And as I grow and move into new seasons, eras, positions, and territories, I STILL have to do this. It’s not easy but it’s a must! Here’s a prayer for you today: “Father, help me to believe what you say about me. Even if I don’t see it yet, I trust you. You are not a liar. Remove any veils from my eyes, so I can see myself the way you see me.” ❤️
