RevZilla had this to say about our 6th and final auction that's closing on the site Friday: The DR-Z makes a game out of every ride and turns every road into a track. With its low-ish weight, upright seating, and dirt-bike-like handling and power delivery, it’s literally the most nimble thing on the road.” It's a 2022 Suzuki DR-Z400SM and it's available for bid until 3PM PST on Iconicmotorbikeauctions.com . Suzuki has a long and storied history of making DR dual sports that stems all the way back to the 1980s. However, the DR-Z400 first arrived in 2000, bringing with it modern conveniences like water cooling, electric starting, an updated instrument cluster, and even full lights and signals depending on your choice of trim. . Just five years later, Suzuki introduced the DR-Z400SM, a street-only Supermoto model as designated by the “SM” suffix. Along with smaller, better-handling 17″ wheels and road tires (other DR-Zs use a 21″ front and an 18″ rear), Suzuki also gave the SM upgraded brakes, inverted forks, and an RMZ-style swingarm. . The seller is the original owner, and the odometer shows 6,884 miles. . Maintenance: The seller states they have performed an oil change every 1,500 miles per the service manual. . Modifications: -Yoshimura RS3 exhaust -Acerbis front fender -TST Industries LED front turn signals and rear tail tidy with integrated tail light -T-Rex Racing frame sliders -Warp Nine axle sliders and muffler guard -DID 520EVRT gold racing chain -Anxin foot pegs and shift lever, as well as Lightspeed carbon fiber frame guards -JF racing rear brake lever -Lightspeed carbon fiber skid plate, case guards, and chain guide -Yoshimura graphics kit -Zeta rubber killers, short clutch, handguards and front brake levers -3×3 air box mod -Carburetor rejet -Pair valve delete mod -The sale includes two keys, the OEM exhaust, front fender, and additional set of aftermarket footpegs . Currently located at our facility in Wappingers Falls, New York, this Suzuki is offered on a clean New York title with a lien. . #iconicmotorbikes #iconicmotorbikeauctions #2022SuzukiDRZ400SM #SuzukiDRZ400SM #Suzuki #DRZ400SM #WappingersFallsNewYork

Closing 5tth on the Iconic auction site Friday is a very well-known, naked staple in the Ducati line up! It's a 1995 Ducati Monster M900, with just 1,782 miles on the clock, and it's available for bid until 2PM PST on Iconicmotorbikeauctions.com . Now in its 28th year (with a substantial redesign for 2021), the Monster was an instant classic that kept Ducati afloat – from 1993 to 2000 the Monster lineup was 42% of Ducati’s sales. . The first model was the M900 of 1993. It was famously a parts-bin special, but the styling was a hit with customers. The Monster combined the air-cooled SOHC engine from the 900SS with the frame from the 888, which yielded 67 horsepower and 60 lb-ft of torque, more than enough for a bike that weighed just 407 pounds. . This example is VIN: ZDM1RC4N9TB010427. The seller purchased this example from the original owner two years ago. The odometer shows 1,782 miles. During their ownership, the seller has put 300 miles on this example. . Maintenance: The seller states they serviced the complete brake system, all filters, timing belt, adjusted valves, installed new spark plugs, and replaced the battery. . Modifications: -Per the seller, this bike is completely stock except for a lithium battery -The sale includes two keys . Currently located in West Palm Beach, Florida, this Ducati is offered on a clean Florida title. . #iconicmotorbikes #iconicmotorbikeauctions #1995DucatiMonsterM900 #DucatiMonsterM900 #Ducati #Monster #M900 #WestPalmBeachFlorida

Friday's fourth auction wrapping on the site is a 6th generation example of Yamaha’s iconic superbike, with only 14 miles on the odometer! It's a 2010 Yamaha R1 and it's available for until 1PM PST on Iconicmotorbikeauctions.com . The 1990s were defined by three sportbikes – the Honda CBR900RR, the Ducati 916, and the Yamaha R1. Honda’s CBR900RR started the revolution by being 76 pounds lighter than its lightest competition. Soon after, Ducati released the 916. It was technically competent with fuel injection and even an adjustable steering head angle, but it’s best remembered just for being one of the most beautiful motorcycles of all time. In 1998, Yamaha released the R1 and wiped the floor with everyone else – it was the lightest and most powerful literbike available and you had to work hard to find a dealer with one in stock. . The basic specifications at the time were 150 horsepower, 419 pounds dry, and 2.96 seconds to 60mph, per MCN. While those were each impressive numbers, it was the engineering of the drivetrain that made it all possible. Yamaha was able to design the engine/transmission to be much smaller by vertically stacking the transmission shafts. . Further space was saved by putting the water pump inside the engine cases. The packaging let Yamaha shorten the wheelbase and still lengthen the swingarm, which made the R1 feel like a 600cc bike but with 1,000cc power. . Manufactured in March of 2010, this example is VIN: JYARN23Y0AA001999. The seller purchased this example from the original owner just one week ago! The original owner purchased this motorcycle in 2010 from a dealership in Bellflower, California. The odometer shows 14 miles. The seller has not ridden this motorcycle. . Currently located in Lemon Grove, California, this Yamaha is offered on a clean California. . #iconicmotorbikes #iconicmotorbikeauctions #2010YamahaR1 #YamahaR1 #Yamaha #R1 #LemonGroveCalifornia

The third listing finishing on the auction site Friday is a rare TZM that’s bound to make you popular at your next mini bike meetup! It's a 1994 Yamaha TZM50R and it's available for bid until 12PM PST with NO RESERVE on Iconicmotorbikeauctions.com . While the YSR50 has become relatively commonplace here in the United States, its successor – the TZM50R – is a far-sight rarer. Yamaha released the bike in an effort to rival Honda’s highly successful NSR50. . The TZM’s 49cc liquid-cooled two-stroke engine was good for 7 horsepower and 4.5lb-ft of torque — more than output enough to move the little bike’s 170-pound heft. Unlike many other small-displacement singles, it sported an electric start and a set 12″ wheels with disc brakes front and rear. . This example is VIN: 4KJ112002, engine #: 4EU139838. It came to Iconic as an import from Japan; prior history is not known. The odometer shows 10,709 kilometers (6,654 miles). . Maintenance: In preparation for the listing, the seller had us install a new battery, clean and tune the carb, rebuild the forks, and replace the oil and oil filter, the transmission oil, the fuel filter, the brake fluid, and the coolant. We also replaced the front brake pads and cleaned the inside of the gas tank. Olly did the work; for his full condition report, feel free to visit the listing on the auction site! . Modifications: -NR Magic exhaust -Daytona cylinder -Aftermarket carb, intake -Carbon fiber front fender -Daytona temperature gauge -Miscellaneous stickers . Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California, this Yamaha is offered on a Bill of Sale only. . #iconicmotorbikes #iconicmotorbikeauctions #1994YamahaTZM50R #YamahaTZM50R #Yamaha #TZM50R

Second set to wrap up on the auction site Friday is a Gixxer 750 import sporting a Yosh pipe and an Öhlins shock! It's a 1988 Suzuki GSX-R750 and it's available for bid until 11AM PST with RESERVE MET on Iconicmotorbikeauctions.com . Suzuki pulled the cover off the first-year GSX-R750 at the 1984 Cologne Motor Show, before its official launch in March of 1985. Upon its release, the Gixxer was unquestionably king, setting a new benchmark in the industry. . Suzuki revamped just about everything for the 1988 debut of the second generation. The aerodynamics were improved (11% less drag), the wheelbase was shortest in class (140cm), and the alloy frame was stronger (60% more rigidity). There were several other upgrades (such as a new short-stroke 748cc engine), but one specific change would end up becoming a nickname for the entire generation – the “slingshot” Mikuni BST36SS carbs. . Basic specifications were 112 horsepower, 55 lb-ft of torque, and a dry weight of 430 pounds. New for ’88 were 17″ wheels, while braking duties were handled by 320mm dual hydraulic discs up front and a 220mm hydraulic disc in the rear. . This example is VIN: JS1GR77A3J2102940. It came to Iconic as an import from Japan; prior history is not known. The odometer shows 17,079 kilometers (10,612 miles). . Maintenance: In preparation for the listing, the seller had us reinstall the windscreen (removed for shipping), replace the front brake switch, adjust the rear brake switch, service the chain, and repair the clutch switch. Yonni did the work; for his full condition report, feel free to visit the listing on the auction site! . Modifications: -Yoshimura exhaust -Öhlins rear shock -Aftermarket bar ends -Battery tender lead -The sale includes two keys . Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California, this Suzuki is offered on a clean Oregon title. . #iconicmotorbikes #iconicmotorbikeauctions #1988SuzukiGSXR750 #SuzukiGSXR750 #Suzuki #GSXR750

The first Iconic auction closing on the site Friday is a Mike Hailwood Replica (MHR) in well-preserved condition! It's a 1981 Ducati 900 MHR and it's available for bid until 10AM PST on Iconicmotorbikeauctions.com . AS A REMINDER: This beautiful machine is located in Johannesburg, South Africa. Buy and ship anywhere in the world with confidence knowing Iconic Transport is now fully operational and has you covered! . Built to celebrate Mike the Bike’s comeback triumph at the ’78 Isle of Man TT, the Ducati 900 MHR (Mike Hailwood Replica) was initially produced solely for homologation purposes. As such, just 200 were built in 1979. But demand was so high that Ducati decided to keep production going, and by the end of the run in 1986 the Italian firm had built approximately 7,100 examples – meaning that even though Ducati originally wanted it to be limited production, it ended up being the best selling bevel-drive twin they ever built. . It also means values can vary quite a bit depending on the year of production. Regardless, basic specifications include a 72 horsepower, 863cc V-Twin with a 5-speed gearbox and a top speed of 137 miles per hour. . This example is VIN: DM900R901744. The seller purchased this example 2 years ago from the original owner. The odometer shows 23,471 kilometers (14,584 miles). During their ownership, the seller has put approximately 600 miles on this example. . Maintenance: Per the seller: “When I purchased it I had it recommissioned. The tank was lined, the carbs and fuel system were cleaned out. It had new oil and was serviced.” . Modifications: -The seller states this example is stock -The sale includes two keys, and the original maintenance and owner’s manuals . Currently located in Johannesburg, South Africa, this Ducati is offered on a clean South African title. . #iconicmotorbikes #iconicmotorbikeauctions #1981Ducati900MHR #Ducati900MHR #Ducati #900MHR #JohannesburgSouthAfrica

Today's 7th and final auction that went live on the site is an RGV250 that needs some work before it can be roadworthy; will you restore this project or use it for parts? It's a 1989 Suzuki RGV250 VJ21 Project and it's available for bid now with NO RESERVE on Iconicmotorbikeauctions.com . Please Note: this bike starts but it will need work before it can be a rider. The tank is rusty so we only ran it on a bottle and did not perform a test ride. . Introduced at the end of the 80s, the RGV250 was filled with design cues from Suzuki’s 250cc Gamma Grand Prix racer. When de-restricted, it produced over 60 horsepower to motivate just 282 pounds of dry weight. Visor Down called it “the purest and most race-bred two-stroke track tool ever to make it into a showroom.” . The VJ21 (first generation RGV250) was an impressive machine with its V-Twin two stroke engine, Mikuni carbs, and alloy beam frame. . This example is VIN: J21A124461. It came to Iconic as an import from Japan; prior history is not known. The odometer shows 41,752 kilometers (25,943 miles). . Maintenance: In preparation for the listing, the seller had us perform a safety inspection on the motorcycle. Olly did the work; for his full condition report, feel free to check the listing on the auction site! . Modifications: -Tank pad -Bar-ends . Hitting the auction site 6th today is a tiny Yamaha trail bike that’s perfect for ripping around the campground! It's a 1970 Yamaha HT-1 and it's available for bid now with NO RESERVE on Iconicmotorbikeauctions.com . Back in the 1960s and 1970s, Yamaha produced a range of small displacement trail bikes meant to cater to the burgeoning off-road market. Though many motorcyclists are familiar with the DT series, there were several others, too, such as the AT, the LT, and the HT like the one you see before you. . Powered by an air-cooled two-stroke 90cc single, the HT-1 made approximately 8.4hp and 6.5lb-ft of torque. Thanks to the bike’s svelte 187-pound curbweight, those numbers proved more than enough to enable some fun in the dirt. The HT-1’s specs also made it an attractive option for beginners — whether those new to motorcycling or those simply inexperienced off the beaten path. . Elsewhere, the HT-1 boasted a full array of equipment that included lighting, a mirror, and a horn. Per Yamaha’s museum entry, it was supposedly sold with a line of motocross kit parts aimed at getting riders into the sport. . This example is VIN: HT1215826. The seller acquired the bike three years ago from a private party in Temecula. During his ownership, the seller has covered approximately 10 miles. The odometer shows 3,843 miles. . Maintenance: In preparation for the listing, the seller had us clean and tune the carb, install a new battery, rebuild the petcock, replace the air filter, and install a new rear brake switch. . Yonni did the work; for his full condition report, feel free to visit the listing on the auction site! . Modifications: -This HT appears to be stock -The sale includes two keys . The sale also includes a new seat and cover, the original mirror, as well as a set of new engine case bolts. . Per the seller, “the bike wears its original patina and shows very well for its age.” . Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California, this Yamaha is offered on a Bill of Sale only. . #iconicmotorbikes #iconicmotorbikeauctions #1970YamahaHT1 #YamahaHT1 #Yamaha #HT1

Fifth to go live on the auction site today: a lovingly restored example of the legendary Dougie Lampkin’s replica trials bike! It's a 2003 Montesa Honda HRC 315R Dougie Lampkin Replica Trials Bike and it's available for bid now with NO RESERVE on Iconicmotorbikeauctions.com . Made in celebration of the legendary Dougie Lampkin’s iconic career, the 315R Dougie Lampkin Replica (known colloquially as the ‘DLR’) was a redesign of the popular trials machine by Honda. The Montesa Honda 315R first entered the trials scene in late 1997 as a collaborative effort between the two motorcycle manufacturers – Honda bringing the reliability and decades of experience in high-revving motors, while Montesa brought their R&D from previous models such as the Cota to form a reliable, high-performance machine. . To commemorate Lampkin’s success, Honda and Montesa developed a replica model that would be available to the public. Outfitted with unique features such as a special design on the tank and a less-restrictive exhaust, the DLR was a full-blown trials competition bike ready to compete straight from the manufacturer! . This example is VIN: VTDMT03A03E310312. The seller acquired this bike from a friend that restored the motorcycle. The true mileage is unknown. The seller states that he has only ridden the bike twice – once as a pit bike, and once around their property. . Maintenance: The seller states the motorcycle needed no service when they purchased it. . Modifications: -Aftermarket exhuast -Sidestand -Acerbis gas cap . Extras: This sale includes spare NOS fenders, lighting kit, manual, Montesa-branded jersey, and box of spares and filters. . Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California, this Montesa Honda is offered on a clean California off-highway title. . #iconicmotorbikes #iconicmotorbikeauctions #2003MontesaHondaHRC315RDougieLampkinReplica #TrialsBike #MontesaHondaHRC315R #DougieLampkinReplica #Montesa #Honda #HRC #315R #DougieLampkin
