Someone asked me what was the most unexpectedly fun part of my wedding week, and I’d have to say this limoncello and pizza making class from @viatortravel! We drove out to Sorrento and had these little cars bring us up a hill to a house where they make mozzarella cheese. We got to taste a bunch of olive oil (I bought three bottles - basil, truffle, and oregano) and we even caught an incredible sunset. We then went back down the hill to a restaurant and made our own pizzas and had shots of limoncello. We all loved learning more about the food from locals and it was honestly fascinating to see the process of making mozzarella. Benedetto was the best guide and it felt super authentic. El Palacio de Blenheim fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO y es donde nació Sir Winston Churchill. No está muy cerca de Londres pero decidimos ir a visitarlo por consejo de otros viajeros y la experiencia valió la pena. De todos los castillos y palacios que visitamos hasta ahora con Paula (juntas o cada una por su lado) es el que más nos gustó. Entre el palacio y los jardines el recorrido lleva varias horas. A los fans de Harry Potter🧙‍♀️ les cuento que en uno de los enormes jardines laterales está el sauce que aparece en la película. Se los muestro en stories. Como dato de color el lugar está repleto de patos de todas las especies y colores🦆🦆. Justamente al entrar nos acompañó una mamá pata con sus hijitos, una maravilla que nos hizo enamorarnos aún más de este lugar 🥰 A todo lo anterior debe sumarse el hecho de que aquí mismo nació un personaje histórico cuya trascendencia todos conocemos. Mi primera visita a Marrakech, que lugar tan exótico, con actividades diferentes y muy divertidas para hacer. Monté globo 🎈 y vi el desierto desde muy arriba🌵 🏜 paseé en dromedario 🐪 , comí comida típica del lugar, fui a la boda de una de mis mejores amigas en un palacio espectacular. We typically don’t go on tours because your tour guide and group can make or break your visit. Thank goodness we loved ours! On our weekend getaway to Bintan, we went exploring the hilly sand dunes in hues of red, light brown and yellow at Gurun Pasir Busung. . . These gentle dunes are a by-product of the bauxite mining that used to be done here. . . You can also find the bluest of water ponds in the area. . . We rented a chauffeured car to take us there. It was not at all crowded when we went but maybe that was because things are only just opening up! . .
