I really hope threads continues to be a quirky funny place to just be a little less serious and doom. Its nice to have one quiet space online that isn't dominated by politics and algorithms and performance all the time.

I went to a talk today about Lewis Carroll's local connections, it was really interesting and quite informative...but I was the youngest person there by at least 30 years 😂

Went for a nice 11km walk through a rather quiet part of Hampshire yesterday, strolling through the Jane Austen countryside and inspecting some 900 year old churches.

Busy on the canal this morning, ran a nicely paced 21 minute 5km too ⭐😊

This was such a fantastic read. Wow.

Sitting in the cafe and a dad is trying to play some sort of card game with his teen kids and it is chaotic and loud and so far they've each told the others to shut up and stop asking so many questions 😅😬 the dad is clearly about to snap.

Went for a rather warm run this morning and stopped for a second to snap this cute summer scene.

A. Spider. Almost. Fell. Into. My. Open. Mouth. But at least the dentist was nice and I was in and out in 30 minutes.

Throwback to this beautiful hike in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) in Wales. Such a great day in the clouds.

I have a dentist appointment today and they've called 3 times this morning to confirm I am aware it's today. Ma'am...my anxiety has been reminding me every 10 minutes for the last week thanks.

Having a 5pm danger coffee....risky!
