Kimmy Repond

Yesterday I was at the prom event from my school Academia, where I got my final diploma. I successfully finished the school (Main subject physics) and I am now qualified to start with a study at an University. I will start a medicin study once my career in figure skating is finished. I finished also the language German, French and English on an A level, for me this was important: languages connect people around the world. I learnt so many interesting things and I am very happy having this opportunity. The combination school on this high level and trying to compete with the best figure skaters in the world is a very hard job and without support it would not have been possible to succeed. I want to say thank you to my school Academia in Basel as they supported me in an unbelievable way. They were always so nice and flexible. Imagine this year, for the entrance (to the university) : preparation at this important school test I traveled for figure skating to Gdansk, Budapest, Espoo/Finland, Canada, Japan and again Canada… and was always trustful and online supported by my teachers. I remember also at the very hard „Corona Time“ : I got always the unlimited support from this school, even when we had Lockdown!! In this hard Lockdown-time, they allowed me to move to Lucerne and go there to the Academia-school (because in my hometown all was closed) and I passed in this Lockdown-year , 2 school years in one year (and: the ice-Rink in Lucerne was the only one which was open at this time). Again a huge thank you to all the teachers from this school and their leader Karin Altdorfer. I also want to mention that I got a strong support from the city of Basel. They have a support program called „Basel4olympia“ and their leader Sandro Pento also supported me since several years. He opened the doors to many intellectual institutions, had always an open ear for my challenges and gave me the needed feeling of trust. 🥰 . . . . . . . #AcademiaMatura #alevels #basel4olympia #swissathlet #prom #2023 #prom2023 #fashionstyle #gratuationdress #promdress2023 #dressstyle #eveningdress #promdress #styleinspo #kimmy_repond #chicdress #designdress

I am in the off season which gives me more time for the regeneration, and this is very important for me. With all the competitions and the final exam in my college I have a hard time behind me. Actually I do the ice training only 5 days per week and use the other time for Physiotherapie or I visit on a regular basis the Cyrocenter in my town. But the best regeneration is the visit of the Aquabasilea: A great place for Sportmassage and foot massage, Hamam, Sauna, ice-water-bath and many other great things. It is important for my body but also for my brain to have this time, making me ready for the new season which is coming very soon. 🥰 . . . . . . #aquabasilea #saunalandschaft #relax #sauna #dampfbad #saunaritual #poolview #eisbad #cooldown #kimmy_repond #massage #massagetherapy #spa #relax #wellness #health #selfcare #relaxation #therapy #healing #healthylifestyle #recovery #relaxing #spaday #bodymassage #bodywork #bodymassage #traditionalmassage #massagetime
