@libassa_wildlife_sanctuary is a safe haven for some of Liberia’s most vulnerable species — including the elusive and endangered pangolin. Often called the world’s most trafficked mammal, pangolins rescued from the illegal wildlife trade are cared for here, along with monkeys, antelope, and other native animals. A powerful reminder of the wild beauty Liberia holds — and why it’s worth protecting. 🦔🌿🇱🇷 #LibassaWildlifeSanctuary #PangolinsOfLiberia #WildLiberia #ConservationAfrica #VisitLiberia

From @warkolor_jungle_lodge, it’s about a 25-minute jungle hike to reach one of Robertsport’s most intriguing landmarks—a rusting shipwreck resting right on the beach. The trail winds through lush coastal forest before opening up to sweeping ocean views and the dramatic wreck, half-buried in sand. A must-do for anyone visiting this remote surf town on Liberia’s coast. 🛶🌿⚓️ #Robertsport #LiberiaTravel #ShipwreckHike #WarkolorLodge #WestAfrica #CoastalTrails #HiddenLiberia #liberia

🇹🇬 5 Things to See & Do in Lomé, Togo 1. Independence Monument – A powerful symbol of Togo’s post-colonial pride, right in central Lomé. 2. Aného – Once the colonial capital, this seaside town is rich in history and Afro-Brazilian architecture. 3. Lomé Cathedral – A striking landmark with stained-glass windows and German colonial design. 4. Lomé beachfront – West Africa was previously split in to four: Ivory Coast, Gold Coast (now Ghana), Pepper Coast (Liberia) and Slave Coast (Togo, Benin & Nigeria), all with beautiful beachfronts now ideal for relaxing. 5. Akodessawa Fetish Market – The world’s largest voodoo market. Strange, spiritual, and, they say, they only use animals that are found already dead. ✨ From coast to culture, Lomé has more than meets the eye. #Lomé #VisitTogo #TogoTourism #WestAfricaTravel #LomeAdventures #HiddenGemsAfrica

The Woman King, Benin 🇧🇯 Standing tall in Cotonou, Benin, this breathtaking bronze statue—known as the “Woman King”—pays tribute to the fierce female warriors of Dahomey, the Agojie. Sculpted by Chinese-Beninese artist Li Xiangqun, the monument honors the legendary all-female military regiment that protected the Kingdom of Dahomey (now Benin) for over 200 years. These fearless women were unmatched in discipline, strength, and bravery—defying norms and rewriting history. A powerful symbol of African resistance and female empowerment 🇧🇯✨ #Cotonou #BeninHistory #WomanKing #Agojie #DahomeyWarriors #AfricanHeritage #TravelAfrica #StatueOfStrength #CulturalLandmarks #BeninTravel #BeninTravel #Benin

🎨 Stretched along nearly 1 km, this is Africa’s longest street art wall—a living mural in Cotonou, Benin, that turns the port’s concrete into color, history, and pride. 🇧🇯 Created by over 40 artists during the Effet Graff Festival, it’s known as the “Wall of Heritage”, telling stories of the Dahomey Kingdom, the legendary Amazons, and Benin’s cultural rebirth. More than just graffiti—it’s a moving museum, a celebration of identity, and a symbol of unity in motion. #Cotonou #BeninArt #MurDuPatrimoine #StreetArtAfrica #GraffitiWall #EffetGraff #AfricanCreatives #DahomeyLegacy #TravelWestAfrica #CulturalHeritage #benin
