Dinner! Atlantic puffin in Iceland. Born to the air, sea, flight and gifted by the breeze. Settle not, where the wind stood still. The air moves, ocean waves, weather wells and brims. Return to the shore, these wings carry them. Just got back from the Westman islands, an archipelago in the south of Iceland, filming for my “In the Field” series for @adorama. This new episode is 2-years in the making. @frankframesthings and I started on this one almost exactly a year ago, covering the story of the Atlantic puffin and it’s unique ties to the local conservation culture of this small island chain. Can’t wait to share it with you in the coming weeks. 'In a State of Change' - Documentary More than a year in the making! We’re so stoked to finally start sharing more about our documentary “In a State of Change” (@in.a.state.of.change) co-directed by @frankframesthings and myself. We’re so grateful to @adorama, our executive producer, for believing in our concept and for providing a platform for us to tell this story about the difficulties of communicating the most critical issue of our time - climate change. **Film Synopsis** As climate change shrinks the Icelandic glaciers, a photographer struggles with the impact of his advocacy work. How do we communicate the most critical issue of our time? Follow Donal Boyd on his journey to discover the role of beauty in nature and the implications of the changing landscape around him.
