HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY MOM! Your prayers, your love, your sacrifices and your unconditional support made me all I am today! Thank you for being the ultimate Moms! Love you infinitely! @immiemy

Last week as soon as I returned from England on my birthday I was presented with this gift…….Love this painting by renowned artist Alex Sanker……….. This is the second painting one of the greatest Artists in Belize’s history has done on me 14 years apart at two defining moments of my life…… I will always be an artist thus my love and admiration for other Artists whether painting, music or other fine arts will forever endure…… Alex Sanker is an Artist Artist, bold, fearless and unapologetic in painting his truth……Sanker has been extremely critical of both political parties in his work which is what i covet most about my sisters and brothers in the creative sector….the ability to express your truth without restrictions…….Respect to the Artists…..continue to paint, sing and perform your truth which reflects the myriad realities of our society…..

FAREWELL HON. MICHAEL JOSEPH ESPAT🙏🏾

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY and thanks to the Mesopotamia Executive Committee and Women’s Group for their hard work in making our annual Mother’s Day Celebration a success! It was great celebrating the MESOPOTAMIA MOTHERS at our annual event. We laughed, ate, drank, danced and sung. We gave prizes but most importantly we gave each other the gift of love. Love you MESOPOTAMIA MOTHERS! Party Leader UDP Mesopotamia

On behalf of the Opposition United Democratic Party I addressed the joint Sitting of the National Assembly to bid farewell to our colleague the Honorable Member from Toledo East Mike Espat. Though we are from different Political Organizations I must pay homage to a man who dedicated his life to serving his people in the House of Representatives. Journey in peace dear colleague, you leave with us a legacy to cherish and emulate for the benefit of the Belizean people. You take with you to the world beyond the good work you did as a servant to your people. May you be judge mercifully by the Almighty. May your family be comforted by the Lord and by all the fond memories of the good you did for so many and the life of fulfillment you were blessed to enjoy. It was my distinct honor to have served with you. Blessings upon your soul until we meet again in the Parliament in heaven. Leader of the Opposition Hon. Dr. Shyne Barrow UDP

Always great meeting with U.S. Ambassador to Belize @michellewkwan to discuss our shared U.S.-Belize ideals and objectives for regional prosperity and stability. As the next Prime Minister of Belize my Government will work to strengthen U.S.-Belize relations for optimal mutual benefit to our Nations. Leader of the Opposition Hon. Dr. Shyne Barrow UDP

Happy Passover to the people of Israel across the four corners of the earth🙏🏾🔯 A people connected not by race or geography but by the Abrahamic faith for thousands of years🙏🏾🔯 A faith rooted in doing what is right and just for humanity🙏🏾🔯 As Moses led the Israelites out of Egyptian slavery may we find the strength and wisdom to lead ourselves out of the many things that enslave us, spiritually, mentally and physically🙏🏾🔯

The Office of the Leader of the Opposition was delighted to donate $5,000 to the Miss Universe Belize Pageant! As someone who comes from the Fine Arts, I recognize pageantry for the art form it is. These powerful women define performing art. Beauty that exudes not just physically but the inner strength, grace and character that is the true beauty. I commend these powerful women for sharing themselves with us, for entertaining us, for inspiring us, for leading us with their advocacy. As a Nation we must always prioritize the Fine Arts and pageantry certainly is high ranking on the list. Beauty, brains, grace and power is how I can best describe these extraordinary women, all with their unique version of the best Belize has to offer. Good luck to all the Delegates and former Miss Universe Belize, Destiny Arnold and her Executive team in taking this pageant to highest heights. I look forward to seeing Belize go all the way on the world stage but first tomorrow night. Best wishes ladies, you are all queens! Leader of the Opposition Hon. Dr. Shyne Barrow UDP

Congratulations to the National Action Network and @realalesharpton on their annual conference. I was please to join other Elected Government Officials in stage for the ribbon cutting. I was moved by great speeches delivered by NY Governor Hochul, NYC Mayor Adams and the Reverends. Rev. Dr. Sharpton and NAN are truly the conscience of America and the world. Leader of the Opposition Hon. Dr. Shyne Barrow UDP
