Mountain Girls

Pushing my limits and stepping outside of my comfort zone can be a mental battle as much as a physical one. Trusting this gear and letting go required a leap of faith, as my body’s survival instincts kick in! But, with fear comes growth - overcoming that inner resistance and pushing through my “perceived” limitations is where the magic happened. Experiencing this feeling was a privilege. It was a reminder of my resilience and strength, both physically and mentally. Embrace the mind game, acknowledge the fear, and push through it - it’s what makes the journey worthwhile. #GoPro #GoProHERO12 #H122023 #Nordegg #ViaFerrata #ExploreAlberta #MountainGirls #ExploreNordegg

Gentle reminder that beauty exists in your backyard, and that it is a privilege to be able to live in green spaces that are easily accessible to you. Sometimes it can be challenging to appreciate the things we are surrounded by every day. But I think those are the most important things to be grateful for. Life isn’t just lived on the highest peaks and the most-jaw dropping paradises. I hope you fall in love with the adventure of the in-between 🩵

Did you know that the Osa península holds 2% of the ENTIRE WORLD’S biodiversity?? Here are the top things to do in the area: 1. Explore Corcovado National Park! 🐒🦋 2. Scuba dive / snorkel by Caño Island 🤿🏝️ 3. Whale and dolphin watching from Drake’s Bay 🐳🐋 4. Hike on the trail from Drake’s Bay along the coast🥾🌊 5. Stay at Copa de Arbol and let the wildlife come to YOU! You literally don’t even have to leave the poolside to observe passing toucans, macaws, monkeys, and more 😍 No matter what you choose to do here, I promise you are bound to see an abundance of wildlife that will absolutely blow your mind away 🤯🫶🏼

Mornings in Costa Rica are seriously unmatched 🌞 A misconception about rainy season is that it rains all day. This is almost always untrue! Mornings tend to look like these, and the rain clouds typically come in during the late afternoons. Low season is greener, much less crowded, and just as beautiful! So, are you in?😍 • • • #copadearbol #osapeninsula #osapeninsulacostarica #corcovado #corcovadonationalpark #drakesbay #rainyseason #visitcostarica #travelcostarica #costaricagram

@parkingonthewildside Parked our home in bear territory! 🐻 Somehow these mountains call us back every single summer, each year we say we will explore a different part of the world in our campervan but we can never resist the pull of the Alps. We thought that having a home on wheels would have led us to see everywhere after 4 years of vanlife but instead weve travelled ever so slowly through each and every valley of the mountains, hypnotised by the flowers and wildlife that they hold. This particular area is the Adamello-Brenta Dolomites, one of the only places in the Alps where bears roam free. Theres a kind of magic in the air knowing that deep in the woods bears are hiding away with their cubs. Our little rescue dog Lufie could almost pass as a bear cub right now with all her fluff! Thank you for capturing this moment with us @jameslloydcole

@kiya_echohawk Shoutout to my girls behind the oars!🚣‍♀️
