The thought & painting process behind this painting I got to do for @attackontitan Final Season! Still feels surreal to be able to say that I got to make a painting for such a popular anime series, but here we are (pinching myself tbh) 😭 #brbchasingdreams #attackontitan #eren #mikasa #anime #watercolor #artstyle #manga #aot #crunchyroll

Man, I’m SO excited to FINALLY share this painting I got to make for the @crunchyroll @attackontitan Final Season 😭 In coming up with ideas for the commission, I wanted to create a piece focusing on the relationship between Eren & Mikasa and this idea of how they’re connected to each other. I can’t help but think about how they both share this theme of fate, faced with making difficult choices that lead to extreme, world-ending scenarios. They’re both bound by these chains of fate; Eren to his past, present & future as a Titan, and Mikasa with her loyalty and conscience to Eren. Below them, the aftermath of the Rumbling urges them toward their futures #brbchasingdreams #attackontitan #eren #mikasa #anime #watercolor #artstyle #manga #crunchyroll

Something Found.’ I made this piece for the @beautifulbizarremagazine @havengallery exhibition, Serendipity. I had this image in my mind of someone hiding something she’d found along the way behind her; a something precious to only her, and her alone 🐰🌸 #brbchasingdreams

Prints dropping tomorrow! 🥳 ‘The Surrender’ was from my solo exhibition, ’Sanctuary.’ The theme of the show was centred around states of mental rest and respite. This piece was envisioning the waves of thoughts that run through your mind: sometimes gentle, but sometimes crashing swells that leave you with no room to breathe or gasp for air. But in knowing that the waves are cyclical and eventually ease, she finds herself surrendering to the motions and trusting that it will be okay. NOTE: The gold-foiled edition print will only be available for 72-hours & will not be reprinted again ——— #watercolor #surreal #fantasy #painting #artstyle #mixedmedia #goldleaf #koifish #illustration

Probably my personal favourite watercolor sketchbook I’ve done over the years! Notice how I hadn’t discovered gold leaf & my obsession with white hair yet? 😂 I experimented with all sorts of new techniques in this book, some that I can still see having shaped my work to what it is today 🥹 so, here’s to growth! #brbchasingdreams ——— #watercolor #sketchbook #artstyle #mixedmedia #drawing #portraits #surreal #sketch

‘Lost and Found’ prints drop this Thurs Nov 23rd, 12PM (PT)! This was from a solo exhibition of mine, ‘Sanctuary.’ I remember this piece being sparked from a simple idea: ‘a home for the lost and wounded.’ It depicts a woman who offers her heart and body as a refuge for the lost, whom eventually find their way to her by the path of the red thread of fate. It’s there that they build a home, a sanctuary to one day find themselves whole again. NOTE: This print will be available in two editions: a 72-hour-only print with gold foil & a standard open print. ——— #watercolor #surreal #fantasy #painting #artstyle #mixedmedia #goldleaf #animalart #illustration
