Thank you all for your birthday messages, well wishes and kind greetings. 🙏☀️😊🌻 strange time, difficult years, really appreciate your thoughts and gestures from near and far. 🐪🐪🦉🦉last year I was in #Rome for my birthday weekend, this time it was #Alexandria. Here are some pics... #ancient #civilization Alexandria was founded in 331 BC by Alexander the Great, king of Macedon and leader of the Greek League of Corinth. Alexandria grew rapidly to become an important centre of Hellenistic civilization and remained the capital of Ptolemaic Egypt and Roman and Byzantine Egypt for almost 1,000 years, until the Muslim conquest of Egypt in AD 641. Alexandria was the intellectual and cultural centre of the ancient Mediterranean world for much of the Hellenistic age and late antiquity. It was the largest city in the ancient world before being eventually overtaken by Rome. @mahmoudsaidmuseum @fsalexandria @balbaa_village @shelterartspace @mass.alexandria @delicesgroup @x_faress_1 @emoo7458 ⚽️⚽️⚽️ @mohamed_morsy99 @abdalahkhaled11 @ehabfarahat659 @abdel_rafe3 @mo7amed_abdelmaksoud

“Mayor Pete” Buttigieg (Harvard, Oxford, Rhodes Scholar, Navy lieutenant, Mckinsey) @victoryfund “Today (2020/12/15) we learned that our first endorsed candidate for President, @pete.buttigieg will make history as the first out LGBTQ person named to a permanent position in a Presidential Cabinet. We believed in Pete from Day 1, and we can't wait to see what he'll accomplish as Secretary of Transportation.” 😎😎 @chasten.buttigieg 🌻🌻

how do you call that sensation, when you walk into a historical location, you feel dizzy, hard to breathe, nauseated, walls collapsing on you, and unwelcomed? as if your life enegy was being sucked away by an invisible forcefield? Like you’re at the edge of a portal to a different dimension? 🤨🤨 was it because of the chemical from the paints? (since it’s recently renovated?) was it due to unusual interior design (visual cues) and hypnotic color scheme? Is there a large deposit of iron ore underneath? i hate to use words like Fengsui or “energy” but i felt immediately better after i stepped out of the building. (BTW i havent done any reality-altering subtances since like forever!) 😅😅 i really wanted to go back to take more photos with my “serious” camera but i’m afraid to go back and feel sick again. everyone else seemed fine tho. Still very much a stunningly beautiful, historical place! Please go for a visit! 👍👍🌻🌻 there’s so much history in Egypt, it’s insane, overwhelming and very very cool! #baronpalace #baronempainpalace #alexandreMarcel #angkorwat #cambodia #lePalaisHindou #indianconnection #belgianconnection #heliopolis #cairo #egypt #invisiblepower #mystery #paranormal 😅😅😂😂 قصر البارون إمبان https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baron_Empain_Palace

Whisper of a Summer Breeze 여름 바람의 속삭임 Finally got to try this year’s most anticipated new restaurant in Hong Kong: Soil to Soul. A Korean vegetarian temple food concept located inside K11 Musea, Victoria Dockside. From the stylish monochromatic decors; subtle, zenful art installations to the thoughtful, whimpsical beverage recommendations by master sommelier; I could feel the attention to detail, sincerity to concepts, deliberate, professional services permeating throughout the tranquil dining spaces. Soil to Soul rivals any michelin fine dining experience in Hong Kong and beyond. Thank you for reminding us that Hong Kong has been and still indeed is a food paradise. A truly global hub where we can find many dedicated, passionate restaurantaurs, f&b investors, chefs, cooks, critics, food lovers from all over the world. This warmth feeling is particularly precious and appreciated during this trying, difficult time we are all going through. 🇭🇰 🇭🇰 💪💪 @soiltosoulhk 🙏😎☀️ #soiltosoulhk #한국은식 #사원요리 #채식요리 #koreancuisine #templefood #vegetarian

“Boys like us never really got away, it seemed. We just bought ourselves time. A few more gasps of air, a few more poems, a few more years. History hurt more than any weapon inflicted on us. It hit back harder than any weapon we could wield, any weapon we could turn ourselves into.” finished the book in 3 settings within a 24-hour period. what an important, timely work especially consider what’s going on with the world right now.
