Eddy Bennett 🇬🇧

Mondays ain’t that bad 🌻 tag someone who needs a friendly reminder ❤️ ‘Nice Life’ is my latest original artwork, which has been hand painted in reverse onto glass, with acid etching, 23ct gold, mother of Pearl, and brush blended enamels. A sweet reminder that the simplest things in life can make you happy - just like this resplendent sunflower, basking in the sun! This will be available with @enter_gallery as part of this years @art_yard_sale event. I will be releasing a very limited run of prints and smaller originals to go alongside this piece which will go on sale on 4th June. Stay tuned for more info. The first commission of 2023 - A ‘Carretto Siciliano’ inspired reverse glass panel. The client came to me with references of @dolcegabbana’s Carretto collection, with influences from the traditional craft of cart painting in Sicily. I wanted to do a slight contemporary twist, but with keeping the naive style and primary colours of the Carretto aesthetic. Would love to do more of this style! Once again, all hand painted in reverse and gilded with 23ct gold. . . . . #eddybennett #carrettosiciliano #dolcegabbana #sicily #carretto #gilding #goldleaf #gold #reverseglass #contemporaryart #interiors #smeg #alwayshandpaint
