So I tried to at least attend the last event of the @grenadachocolatefest and got to try this creamy liqueur mix by @clarkescourtrums and when I tell you it was good! It truly was 10/10 ! I don’t even actually drink much alcohol but that was too good, I think I definitely need this at home.😉

What is the saying again…? All work and no play makes jack a dull boy? Well this is what it looks like when you mix the two and add good people. UNLEASH, UNLEASH , UNLEASH, has been the buzz in Grenada for the past 3 days now (May 10-12) and for good reason. This creative affair is the first EVER conference held in Grenada over a 3 day period, where any and everyone was welcome to participate. I participated on the 2nd & 3rd day and was very much eager to see what Unleash was about. I’m not sure what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how well put together the whole event was, and all the speakers who had graced us with their knowledge. It was all so exciting! Unleash was a much needed reminder that in order to come together, the EGO has to take a back seat. This was a reminder to artist, but ESPECIALLY to Grenadians as a whole. There isn’t enough collaborations between creators. We are our own source, we don’t need them or anyone else. We just need each other because we can excel to great lengths, right here in Grenada. So the purpose of this conference is to ensure change, growth on a collective level, reinforced collaborations, community engagement, skill and leadership development, as well as taking and transcending all the knowledge from “Goats” who have paved way for us black folks. I’m so grateful to have been apart of this whole experience, it will truly stay with me for as long as I live.
