The eco fashion house @ministryoftomorrow’s custom tote bags created for @madonna’s Celebration Tour are available now. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these bags benefits the Chema Vision Children’s Center in Kibera, Kenya and Raising Malawi’s health and art programs for vulnerable children in Malawi. The proceeds will allow for over 200 children to gain quality education and nutritious meals for the next year, as well as vulnerable children in Malawi to get the life-saving health interventions and motivating and inspiring arts programming they need to thrive.

Prior to opening the Mercy James Centre in Blantyre, Malawi, the local hospital saw up to 1,300 patients a day and relied on only four beds in their ICU. The development of MJC helped provide necessary resources for pediatric care and continues to expand healthcare access to communities in need. Follow our journey and keep up with us by going to our website: raisingmalawi.org

After Cyclone Freddy destroyed property, crops, and upended lives across southern Malawi in February and March, the Mercy James Centre in Blantyre initially lost power supply temporarily but was able to recover a few days later after activating generators. We’re looking back at moments like you see here - like a child learning to walk again after an injury - as the most meaningful opportunities we get to have an impact on someone’s life, and are grateful that our facility was still standing after the storm. The younger generation in Malawi, with over 80% of the country being under the age of 35, are the future - and we are so happy to provide the care that many currently need at Mercy James. Link in bio to donate to the Centre.

Standing up, standing out! The strength of a young generation isn’t just in its numbers, but in its brilliant, creative, and fruitful minds! A few moments from our last visit to @home_of_hope_malawi 🏠❤️
