Robyn @robzlee tells us yesterdays story of how she caught her first indo-pacific permit while on @alphonseisland - “Two hungry permit cruising along the edge of the beach in front of the Alphonse Beach Bar. A short cast and the larger of the two perm’s immediately started bumping the tan Alphlexo before engulfing it. A very nervous 20 minutes of lengthy runs into the backing and I landed my first 57 cm Indo-Pacific Permit. Thanks to my trusty tools, a Shilton SR9, T&T Sextent and Cortland tropical fly line” 🔥 Guided by @lifeguard_flyfisherman #flyfishing #permitonfly #flyfishingseychelles

We are equally as stoked when we catch a shimmer of blue as we are when we spot a darker grey on the flats! Bluefin trevally and giant trevally both offer explosive eats and mean business! 💼 📍 Cosmoledo Atoll, Seychelles 🇸🇨

Astove lagoon, full of precious game fish, including giant trevally, Indo-Pacific permit, bonefish, and milkfish. Astove is a gift that keeps giving, from the big angry to the delicate stalking game! @flyfishingnation had the opportunity to fish Astove Atoll last year during a high neap tide. After several bonefish were lost to sharks, they re-rigged their GT gear with wire leaders to tax the taxman, resulting in some incredible shark-on-the-fly footage! As always, a number of sought after species were also targeted and brought to hand 😍 All sharks were handled carefully and safely released. 📍 Astove Atoll, Seychelles 🇸🇨 @flyfishingnation @shiltonreels @yeti @costasunglasses #afc #alphonsefishingco #astoveatoll #astove #flyfishing #flyfishingadventure #seychelles #sharkonfly #flyfishingforlife #heedthecall #itonlycountsonfly #flyfishingjunkie
