Nordhavn stories _ A beautiful night some weeks ago when the sunset played up against the local architecture and me letting myself be swept away: Capturing Konditaget (the ‘exercise roof’) Lüders juxtaposed to The Silo, The Tip of Nordø, Portland Towers and the Copenhagen Skyline in general … The harbour bath at Göteborg plads and Nordhavn S-train station caught the last sun in all its glory On an afternote: I came into 2025 meaning to photograph daily (maybe not post quite that much) and I have pretty much, but my fathers recent passing was a story, that I am not ready to share yet in images (if at all). The camera is such a faithful companion, it captures life and death allowing to process and give though to what goes on around a person . To you dad and your love of walking and observing ♥️ #copenhagensunsets #copenhagenarchitecture #danisharchitecture #konditagetlüders #thesilo #portlandtowers #nordhavnstation #visitcopenhagen #opdagdanmark #tipofnordø

Geometric pudding _ Look up in Copenhagen Nordhavn [North Harbour] Spidsen [The tip] is a round building making up an outpost at NordØ [North Island], it has sea on 3 sides and the rounded shape + facetted windows invariably become the playground of light and reflections from the Sun, the sea and the sky. Breathtaking up close .. cloud fragments on parade By old arki favorites in collaboration: @vilhelmlauritzenarchitects @cobearchitects and @tredjenatur 2023 #vilhelmlauritzen #vilhelmlauritzenarchitects #cobearchitects #tredjenatur #shotoniphone #i̇phone15promax #architecturephotography #danishdesign #danisharchitecture #nordhavn #spidsen #tipofnordø #reflectionphotography

West coast vibes _ My eclectic feed: Impressions from a broad and diverse range of sources. Ørestad Nursing home _ A home for the elderly Lighting up even on grey days and still looking as crisp as when it was opened some years ago. Core values “safe, meaningful empowered co-living and freedom (as expressed on their web page)” Built by @jjwarkitekter [2012], as part of a plan to create a diverse and “living” (vibrant) neighborhood in South Ørestad The visual inspiration came from the Danish modernist Cobra artists that have also lend their names to the streets of the area fx Asger Jorn, Richard Mortensen and Else Alfelt. #ørestadplejecenter #ørestad #ørestadnursinghome #orestad #ørestadsyd #danisharchitecture #danishdesign #scandiliving #scandinavianliving #architecturephotography

Art and Amager Fælled (Nature reserve)- a tribute to neighborhood and wildlife _ Art celebrating 20 years of neighborhood and community. Ørestad rose from bare fields 20(ish) years ago. Artist Peter Skensved @nameoner created a huge mural with accompanying artwork on one side of the shopping mall Field - based on input from more than 2000 neighbors. With @institutforurbankunst & @fieldsshopping I took a closer look during the blue hour on a misty evening - these are some of the wildlife motifs… #Ørestad #peterskensved #amagerfaelled #amagerfælled #fieldsshopping #mistyfoggymilkymoody #reflectionshot #shotoniphone #iphone15promax

Light and color tight hold _ I always hesitate to post such images .. too much .. too saturated .. just too .. when in fact I turned down most everything before posting Sometimes nature just throws you a curveball Sunset at Kalvebod Fællec, Amager Vest a few weeks ago #shotoniphone #iphone15promax #kalvebodfælled #amagervest #amagerfælled #naturparkamager #visitcopenhagen #sunsetlandscape #reflecting_perfection #reflectiongram
