I know what it’s like to HAVE & HAVE NOT so I took it upon myself 12 years ago to find an organization to not only donate financially but volunteer with all year round. And @4hosea changed my life for the better! This organization has been around over 50 years founded by Hosea Williams assisting those in need & is no better feeling than putting a smile on someone’s face! I’ve met so many amazing people while volunteering. I’ve even had an encounter with Arthur Blank owner of @atlantafalcons Yes even billionaires make time to give back time. Due to COVID we can no longer be inside So myslef and 50 others stood outside over 5 hours in 90 degree weather handing out backpacks filled with school supplies purchase by @amazon who donated 20k. In addition, fresh produce donated by @publix along with @footlocker which donated 700 pair of shoes; and @microsoft. I wouldn’t change standing out in the hot sun giving back for nothing in the world! I would like to remember how hard the plane ride out was, so I can in turn remember how easy the ride back was. I would like to remember that I didn’t wear any makeup or brush my hair the entire time. I would like to remember the first “wave” that knocked you over and how cautious you were of the sand until you realized you could dig in it. I would like to remember you hugging your Florida cousin, Marley, over and over and over. I would like to remember how kind and thoughtful your father was and how committed he was to both you and I having a good time. I would like to remember the love your grandparents have for one another and how much it influences your father and I’s love for one another. And lastly, I would like to remember that you ate an entire half of a Publix sub because they are just that good.

Someone earned their coat today! Rachel has worked hard and graduated from puppy kindergarten today. Earning her coat means she has public access rights. She has the skills and appropriate behavior to go on outings.
