Sharing this photo of the day I got engaged and immediately ugly cried🥸 side note: I’m trying to figure out a happy middle ground between maintaining my privacy and still sharing my life with you all, so thank you all for being patient with me, and respecting mystery man’s wish to be private. To keep it real these past two years have been a whirlwind, from my fathers health, the Panasonic putting the world on hold, moving out, moving in, meeting my future husband and trying to develop my character as I go. For me, I felt as though I needed to figure out who I was before I came on here to pretend to know in front of you all. Slowly but surely I’ve come to realize there will always be a gap between where you are now and where you believe you should be, so there’s no point for me to wait til I’m the “perfect person” to create content for you all, because it’s in the act of creating things that you find out who you are. Sappy I know gross… but here’s to new directions and in less than two weeks I’ll be a married woman (to the best man ever) but nonetheless I’ll still be too turnt. 🍻

It’s been a little minute since I’ve posted but while I’ve been gone I’ve had some of the best days of my life. My Fiancé and I have been showered in overwhelming love, support, and water balloons. It’s hard to be surrounded by people like this and not constantly think about how amazing Gods grace, timing, and plan is. He has given me my best friends, my amazing family, a future to be hopeful for, and a relationship with Jesus that I cannot be more thankful for. I will be forever grateful for the gospel in action, and for people who truly live what is preached, I am who I am today because of it. When I gave my life to Jesus, I made a public declaration. When I got baptized, I made a public declaration. And just 5 weeks left until I make another, and declare my love and faithfulness to my best friend for as long as we both have breath. This represented my internal commitment to change and a demonstration of my faith. I thought long and hard of whether or not I was going to share with my following but at the end of the day it didn’t make sense not to. So often do we shy away from displaying who we are due to fear of how others will perceive us, but being as strong in my faith as I am, and trusting that I was maybe given this platform to inspire or be community for atleast one other person… then that is what I will be. You guys have stuck around for my journey for 8 years now, I can’t wait to have you join me for the rest. This was my decision, I am the happiest I’ve ever been. This is me, I am a believer.
