Jenny Lorenzo┃Cuban Comedian

This has been a dream come true. 🥹❤️ This morning I’m being featured on @todayshow on a very special segment about the power of the Abuela. I was absolutely thrilled when @igstorres contacted me about this opportunity, and I immediately flew back to my hometown of Miami, FL to shoot this segment in January. It was an incredible honor to collaborate with the talented @llamasnbc and @abuelascounter. The home where we gathered to film was filled with so much love and rich culture, and I even had the joy of bringing my mom along to the set. 🥲 The full segment will air tonight on @topstorynbc! 🦚

Cousins! I am absolutely THRILLED to introduce you to Abuelita on the all NEW Disney Channel animated series, Hamster and Gretel! The episode premieres TOMORROW on Disney Channel at 9:30am! You can also catch it later on Disney+! When my Hyphenated podcast co-host and hilarious comedian, @johaus told me that she was head-writing this animated series created by Dan Povenmire (creator of Phineas and Ferb & Milo Murphy’s Law) about a Venezuelan-American family, she knew that I absolutely HAD to audition to play the role of her Cuban Abuela. (FUN FACT: Joanna’s Abuela was Cuban!) After a nerve wracking audition (I wanted the role so badly!) I ended up booking it! My first, official role in a Disney animated series!! I would love nothing more than your support by tuning in tomorrow morning! #jennylorenzo #hamsterandgretel #disneychannel #disneyplus #voiceacting #latinosinhollywood

Mi gente! Mis primos! I am thrilled to share my new national campaign with you! It was filmed here in LA with Rocket Homes and Rocket Mortgage and I’m just over the moon and immensely proud of this work for the Latino community. This campaign is special because it was designed by Latinos for Latinos and I hope you all enjoy it!  @rocketmortgage

My beautiful girl crossed the rainbow bridge today. 🐾🌈 Her name was Delilah, but many of you knew her as Chuchi. She made it to nearly 15.5 years. I rescued her from the streets of Miami in 2012 and she has been there for me through so much. All of my career ups and downs, heartbreaks, our big cross-country move to Los Angeles, the passing of my grandparents, my Crohn’s disease diagnosis, the pandemic, just everything. Everything. She traveled with us everywhere and even rode rides at Disneyland. We gave her the best life that we could. And yet it will never feel like we had enough time with her. She is my heart and soul dog and David and I are going to miss her so much. She was my comelona, croqueta, bubba bean burrito, chunkerella, Dee girl deluxe. A piece of my heart is gone forever. 💔
