Hey there, I’m so sorry I haven’t been active in a long time. I’m doing okay but I had lots of difficulties in 2017 therefor I had no motivation to do art. My father lost his battle with cancer in August. It’s still very hard to deal with his passing but he’d want me to keep doing what I love. I also went through a divorce beginning of 2017 and have moved around quite a bit. I’m going to move again in 4 weeks hopefully the last time for a while! Needless to say I’m starting to really miss my artsy lifestyle and interaction with you all. I’ll give it a shot to produce some art here shortly. I hope I still got it.😜 I’m quite anxious about it to be honest though! Thank you guys for sticking around and checking up on me. Hope to share my art with you all soon again!❤️

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!!!🎁🎄

My mixed media painting is finished and ready to be hung up in my living room! 💚"Do not give your past the power to define your future"💚 We all have done something we aren't proud of but don't beat yourself up over it. Just put the work in and try to be the very best version of yourself! 💪

Throwback: "Blue/green ombré hair drawing!💙💚 I'd die for this hair color but I am such a wuss! I'm just living my fantasy hair through my art instead. So obsessed with hair drawings lately.😜 ✍🏻 Done with Prismacolor pencils on gray Strathmore paper!" Song: @torikelly - silent

Redecorated my bedroom recently! All neutral colors. Since I love birch trees so much I made a whimsical tree out of a simple flower vase. I attached some strings, painted it with chalk and acrylic paint to get the birch tree effects and then added some crystals.💎 Got the lighted tree branches at Michael's. I've been experimenting with mixed media and crafts lately. It just relaxes me as I'm still trying to get back on track with my lovely pencils!😁

Hey everyone, YES I'm still alive and I'm extremely sorry for my absence ! I'll explain below but let me show you what I have been up to! _ I've painted my boring Ikea night stands into antique pieces. I'm OBSESSED with anything distressed looking!❤️ I've used white chalk paint by Americana for the base coat (3 coats to be exact), LOVE the matte, chalky finish. No sanding or priming needed. Then I mixed my own distress color with simple matte acrylic paints by Folk Art and used a large stencil brush. To seal your pieces you have to apply and buffer with a creamy wax (Americana Crème Wax)! Got these cute pull knobs at World Market. Super simple stuff and lots of tutorials online. Before tossing your old furniture out, try to create something unique and beautiful. Hey what do you have to loose?!💁🏼💪 _ Ok now...as some of you may know I've been back to Germany to visit my family that I haven't seen in over 2 years. Which was a great trip but also some hardship. My grandma went downhill suddenly while I was there and I know it'd be the last time seeing her. Saying my goodbyes was just heart wrenching. She has passed away 3 weeks ago.😔 I know she's not suffering anymore and she's is in a better place now. 🙏 But due to such overwhelming emotions I haven't been inspired to draw anything. I'm completely in a funk. I do go through that now and then and I apologize. I know I'll snap out of it eventually because I do feel more creative again...hence the furniture painting☝️😂. Until then, please be patient and bare with me! Thanks for reading my life story.😜 XO
