Nithya Menen

Remembering a moment during the shoot of #skylab :) I remember it was sunset , the most surreal golden orange glow in the sky. Working with a group of people I loved. And this old grandmother who reminded me a lot of my own grandmother :) It made me feel like the golden glow was in my heart☀️ Skylab released today 4 years ago 🌸 A first for @nithyamenencompany , made and produced with great love. A perfect start 😊 @vishvakkhanderao @prithvipinnamaraju @poojitatadikonda @adityajavvadidop @iamvishnuoi @prashanthrvihari @shivamm_rao

There are sooooo many videos of us driving in the mornings , driving to locations … driving driving everywhere… in that car of yours I enjoyed driving so much , remember ? @sayanoraphilip 🙂

Some behind the scenes stuff I had from the shoot. Miss the crazy group - the girls all crammed into one room , which also doubled as the costume room . The boys so afraid to enter that room always :D ‘My’ spot on the couch - which no one sat on ever 🤍:) The early early mornings - driving to location with @sayanoraphilip on most days before the sunrise…. Music on sets always. But most importantly ,no make up no assistants.. Just a happy bunch , having a lot of fun together. @wonderwomenfilm @anjalimenonfilms @simply.nadiya @par_vathy @padmapriya_off @sayanoraphilip @archana_padmini @amrutasubhash @_its_me_caroline

Almost a year now - I went straight from this to the National Award ceremony- with dirt in my fingernails :) having picked up cow dung with my hands just the previous day for a scene. I found the whole thing very poetic. ‘I went and received the Award from the president with cow dung in my fingernails’ I said to my friends 😊 There was something compelling about that for me . A special shoutout to my staff - my most favourite people , we are always family in good times and tough ones 🌸🩷 @vijjireddyskht @jaylicious22 @kranthi_arragunta Watch ‘Idli Kadai’ now on @netflix_in 🎉 📽️
