Today is the 3 year anniversary of “Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice”. This is definitely one of the most divisive movies of all time, & it is one that is still passionately debated to this day. People either love it or hate it. Personally I’m one of the people that completely LOVE this film. And if you don’t like this film that’s completely fine but this is why I love it. This film came out at a point in my life were things were very doom & gloom. I felt like the whole world was against me, and here comes a film with my two favorite childhood heroes & it saved me. It took Batman & Superman the two most iconic & inspiring heroes and completely deconstructed them. Both men are in the darkest points of their lives just like I was. They both faced the their darkest inner Demons and have basically given up all faith in humanity. Superman has seen for every good action has a even worse reaction. Batman has seen no matter how many criminals he puts away something worse always comes to take its place. Superman doesn’t believe he can inspire anyone & Batman doesn’t believe theirs any good in men. But when their hatred brings them face to face they see that their pain & false beliefs can be found in each other. Batman sees that in this Alien Monsters last words he calls out to save another person. Batman realizes that he’s become everything he’s fought against. Batman sees he’s the murderer & Superman is the powerless boy crying out for someone to save his mom. Batman not only sees that Superman is human at heart, he sees this as a shot at redemption for when he could not save his own mother as a powerless child. Once Batman says “Martha won’t die tonight.” Superman sees he can inspire people and that he can be hero to the world. They go on to fight side by side & save the earth. “Men are still good”. I could go on all day about this film with it’s parallels & messages. But after 3 years I’ll just say... Thank You Zack Snyder, when I needed a hero in my life... I got three. @batjaxproductions #batmanvsuperman #dc #dceu #zacksnyder #batman #superman #wonderwoman #batmanvsupermandawnofjustice #justiceleague
