Introducing myself again 💕 I have been asked this question many times, what do you do & why do you what you do? I finally found my answer. 𝗜’𝗺 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘂 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟯𝟱 𝗯𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. — Hi! I’m Jo ☺️ 🌱 TSP started as a passion project which grew from a seed to a little seedling now. I’ve been cultivating this baby of mine for the past 5 years 💕 Of course with help from interns, family, friends and partners that I am forever thankful for! 🫣 My MBTI is INFJ and back then, they told me that some career options were being a teacher, counsellor, religious work or charity 🤭 🤔 I’m someone who spend more time reflecting than doing and thinking than talking so when you meet me I might be quiet but give me some time to warm up 🥰 💕 Converting back to a one woman show gives me more time to control TSP better, form closer relationships with the community and enjoy this life journey I’m in. The grass always used to look greener on the other side but I’m glad to say, it doesn’t anymore 😘 🧘‍♀️One of my new found passion is yoga and I hope I will get the certification in my lifetime ✌🏻 📦 I’m a karang guni since young while shows a lot in TSP especially with @zwpi_sg 🤣 I know it’s a problem and am working on it so I don’t become a hoarder 😅 🥗 I’m not a vegan or vegetarian but I try to reduce my meat intake as much as possible for a better planet 📚Books are my life. In an alternate universe, I’m pretty sure I’m either a librarian or working in a book shop. Hmmmm maybe a retirement job? Also another reason why @amillionbooks.sg was started 🤳 I kinda have a love hate relationship with social media but I’m trying my best to focus on how it can improve our lives and using the platform to my best ability 😝 ⛪️ I’m a Christian & see my work strongly related to creation care and I count my blessings everyday to be able to continue doing this, no matter how tough it gets! — Thank you for sticking with me through this journey to spread the message of sustainability!

Calling out for used glass jars or cosmetic jars to be reused during our coffee grounds scrubs workshops ☺️☺️ We try our best to reuse existing materials and over the past few years, our kind community has been donating these items to us. Thankfully we managed to rehome most of them and are open to taking in a new phase of donations 🫶🏻 Please do send us an image of the items you wish to donate so that we can confirm it is usable for the workshop and we will arrange for a timing in which you can drop them off at our office (Wcega Tower, #06-78, S658065) Let me know if you have any other questions!

The last community Semakau Landfill trip for 2023 🫶🏻 At the start of the year, I made the commitment to organise 4 trips in 2023 and I’m glad that I managed to organise 6 instead. That’s a total of around 200 individuals impacted 🥳 Every time when I go the the landfill, I always learn and experience something new and it serves as a constant reminder on why I do what I do. The last trip of 2023 had so many blessings - weather was nice and windy - managed to see the ash and barge that transports it - loads of extra time for the participants to walk and take pics - reached the landfill and SG on time It’s my goal to continue organising these trips until I can no longer do so. “Dare to show how your business can be different” One thing that I’ve learned when I take the step to place environment > profits through the way gift sets are being curated for our retail arm. It’s always a chance to share with clients how things can be done differently and the small conscious steps we take to make the gift set a little friendly to the earth. Of course, there are times when the client doesn’t agree and choose to work with other vendors instead but I wouldn’t have do it otherwise ☺️☺️ And of course the best way is not to give out gift sets but instead opt for vouchers!
