Well, I love having them indoors as well😉 The small bowl filled with water on our dining table for instance. It reflects the shifting skies in the skylight window above, and provide a feeling of tranquility when watching a flower floating on the surface🙏🏻🌱 Picture 2: 🎥 The blue sky reflecting in the water, and the slow movement of the flower on the surface. Good morning sunny Monday☀️ A morning garden tip 😄🪴👇🏻: I usually water my plants in the afternoon or in the early evening because then the water won’t evaporate in the sun, and the water drops won’t burn the leaves, but I’ve recently learned that early morning watering is even better…. So, I thought I’d share this with you 🌿🌱🪴💦 🌱💡«Morning or early afternoon watering is actually preferable to late evening watering as the plants have time to dry a bit before the sun goes down. Cocktail premiere at our rooftop terrace this sunny Saturday 🍸☀️😎🌱 I’m not a huge cocktail fan, but this is one of my favorites👌🏻 Sparkling, fresh, and with a great sting from ginger beer and freshly sliced ginger🙌🏻 So easy to make! Want to try? 😁👇🏻 - Freshly sliced ginger - Ginger beer ( I prefer @fevertreemixers ) - Freshly squeezed lime juice - Brut Nature Crémant (Dry, and not sweet) - Topped with fresh mint leaves and ice 🌱 I freestyle the measurements in this cocktail to my taste, and you can do so too. Find the balance you prefer. If you like, use a sweeter Crémant and a sweeter Ginger beer 😎 (Non-alcoholic bubbles will work too of course) Start with ice and fresh ginger in a glass. Top with ginger beer, lime juice, Crémant, and mint leaves. Ready for tomorrow’s constitution day celebration 🌱 🥳 The house is filled with my favorite forest flower, the Forest Anemone, as always on the 17th of May💚🇳🇴 I went to the magical @ekebergparken forest today and picked a fresh bouquet of these white beauties🌱 I always go forest style at the 17th of May 🌿🌱🇳🇴 Love the natural Norwegian feeling 🌳🌲🌱 A small natural decor tip from me tonight👇🏻: Bark «vases» from the forest💚 I brought home a peace of dry bark from a tree lying on the forest floor a while back. I cut the beautiful brown bark into three small decorative «vases» (cylinders). Inside the cylinders I used some tiny glasses to provide water for the Forest Anemones 👏🏻🌱So simple and so decorative. Perfect year round I think, filled with various seasonal flowers, grasses, or small branches….. +++ Super easy to create, no money spent, and an all natural decoration 🌱🌳🌲 ♻️🌏 The only thing missing now are the Norwegian flags. The Elm trees these days 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🌱🍃 «Ulmus Glabra», one of my favorite trees, espesially in spring💚 Swipe 👉🏻👉🏻😍 I love the light green flower shaped fruits/nutlets that fills this tree for a brief moment early spring. The nutlets (samaras) flies of with the wind, but left are the beautiful rippeled looking leaves 🌱 The Elm tree can get very tall (about 30 m) with a wide broaded crown, and become over 500 years old. Sunny Sunday outdoor tips ☀️🌿🪚🛠️ 🌿Nr 1: 💡Create a unique outdoor table! A huge rock placed next to a tailormade sofa/daybed was the perfect spot to put a small side table in this project. A sturdy «furniture» that will stay put in any storm👌🏻A table for drinks, an outdoor lamp, or just some cold water in a mug on a hot summer day. ☀️ And of course, the rock can be a lot smaller than this one😉 Remove the original base of a suitable outdoor side table, drill a hole matching the table leg in a rock, and put the table leg into the hole. Pour a bit of stone clue in the hole first to keep the table fixed and sturdy👏🏻 🌿Nr 2:💡When building a lounge seating/daybed, make sure that the back rest is tilting backwards about 10 to 15 degrees. This is a comfortable angle to rest your back in a sofa. Adding soft cushions will of course create extra comfort 💚 In this sofa I chose soft versatile beach matresses («Nicole» matresses from Jotex) as seating cushions and armrests, and various sized linnen cushions against the back rest. 💡This way the beach matresses becomes multifunctional.
