Trust God!🙏🏼

This one will hit. We lost a good neighbor in our neighborhood recently and it was unexpected. As Christians we know the Great Commission and that we should be sharing the Gospel with those around us. Many of us fail at this, even I fail at this. It’s during the late nights when you begin to remember I never shared the Gospel with this person, now they are gone.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬-‭18‬

Have you been letting God guide you? Like really guide you, even to places that make you uncomfortable? I’ve always been a firm a believer that when God wants to use you and make you grow in your faith, it’s about to get uncomfortable. Look at Moses, he originally didn’t want where God was going to take him. It was going to be an uncomfortable journey but the experiences Moses would have with God were amazing. Now in this journey with God directing you, be sure to have a heart of joy. Sure Moses had his moments but I would say he found joy in his journey in life with God. If you want to see a complete opposite of joy in the journey look no further than Jonah. Jonah didn’t want to be uncomfortable, Jonah didn’t want anything to do with Ninevites, and really didn’t want the journey God prepared for him all way through the book of Jonah and likely beyond.

Trust God’s plan!🙏🏼

I’ve shared with you all that we have been in the process of completely remodeling our house and doing an addition. Just wanted to share these greats words from my wife. “One of the many things Dillan and I have learned throughout this process is how blessed we truly are. We didn’t get here by luck or by chance. It took hard work, sacrifices, supportive family and friends and a lot of faith! As exciting as it is to see our dream home come together, we also know it’s more than just the perfect wall color or the right kitchen cabinets. We know that one day, God willing, we will bring our future children home here and watch them grow up here. We want our home to be a welcoming and loving place to everyone who walks through the door. Before they got too far, Dillan and I took some time to ourselves to reflect and pray over our home. Anyone who knows me knows I have a tendency to worry about things I can’t control, but the moment we gave this house over to God, a huge weight was lifted and I knew our home and future were in the best hands! 💕 So thankful to be celebrating 9 years with my favorite person in this season of life! 🥰”
