A 39-year-old naked man was rescued on Friday after he spent nearly two days being trapped inside the walls of a theatre in Syracuse, New York. Firefighters were called around 07:30 local time (11:30 GMT) after a person was heard banging on the wall and pleading for help. According to local media, rescuers cut through the theatre's walls and found him trapped there naked. In a statement on Facebook, the Syracuse fire department said that firefighters "drilled a hole in the wall and utilised a fibre-optic camera" to determine the exact location of the trapped person. "They then cut through drywall and tile to free the man, who was believed to have entered the theatre two or three days prior," officials were quoted by Syracuse.com as saying. Speaking to the local news outlet, Landmark Theatre director Mike Intaglietta said that the man was seen wandering around the Landmark Theatre earlier in the week. "Employees who saw him lost track of his location and assumed he had left," said Mike Intaglietta. I don't know if he was entering to keep warm or to use the bathroom. I don't know," he added. People had a lot of hilarious comments about this incident. Fire officials said that the man hid in a crawlspace for two days and was left trapped after he fell inside the wall of the theatre's male bathroom. The man appeared to be suffering from a mental illness and is currently being treated at a local hospital. Meanwhile, no charges were filed against the man as of Friday afternoon.

The investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's death has taken a new turn as CBI has now approached the US to conclude the investigation. The investigating agency now aims at retrieving late actors' deleted chats, emails from Google and Facebook Headquarters in the US California under MLAT (Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty). A financial express report claims that CBI does not want to leave a single stone unturned before closing the case. The CBI also wants to verify if there is any 'other' social media account, email, or link associated with the actor that remains unknown. Sushant Singh Rajput 'reportedly' died by suicide on June 14, 2020. Vikas Singh, the lawyer of Sushant Singh Rajput's family, has confirmed that the CBI has approached the US under MLAT and sought Sushant's deleted emails and chats as the CBI has not yet reached any conclusion. Even though the forensic team of AIIMS had declared Sushant's death as a suicide, the CBI claimed it to be either abetment to suicide or murder. After SSR's death, the Mumbai Police started investigating the case and labelled it a suicide. However, Sushant's death snowballed into a nationwide controversy after Sushant's family alleged that his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty should be arrested for abetment to suicide. The case was registered for abetment and later was handed over to the CBI. Following the transfer to CBI, the agency recorded statements of all the staff present at SSR's house and Rhea and her brother Showik several times. Two more central investigative agencies, including ED and Narcotics Control Bureau, were investigating the case. NCB made several arrests related to SSR's death, including Rhea, her brother Showik in drugs angle. Several Bollywood A-listers, including Deepika Padukone, was interrogated after drug chats surfaced. Despite several attempts at digging out the truth, CBI has not yet reached the closure report of this case and is now seeking the help of the US through the channel of MLAT. The case may see some new angles if some more details about Sushant's personal and professional life resurface after the investigation.

Last week, we saw Facebook announce a rebranding of its Facebook Company to Meta. And while this definitely shocked several users, it has also affected a few companies along the way that were using the same name for their brand. And now, one company named Meta Company has gone to court against the social media giant for allegedly stealing its name and ‘livelihood’ with this rebranding. The statement was issued by Meta Company founder Nate Skulic, who revealed that Facebook tried to purchase the brand name from them for the past three months, however, they refused to do so for several reasons. Firstly, the offer was too low and it wouldn’t have covered the cost of the damages the company would have faced by rebranding their name. Moreover, they were keen on knowing the intent of the client. Facebook at the time wasn’t willing to share the details. According to Skulic, since they disagreed to go forward with the proposal, Facebook tried to ‘bury’ the company by the ‘force of media’. Skulic said in a statement, "Facebook decided to commit trademark infringement and call themselves Meta.” “They couldn't buy us, so they tried to bury us by force of media. We shouldn't be surprised by these actions - from a company that continually says one thing and does another." Skulic has stated that it won’t go down easy on the social media company and has decided to take necessary legal actions against it, while stating that the official statement may be regarded as a public cease and desist. Skulic added, "Facebook and its operating officers are deceitful and acting in bad faith, not only towards us, but to all of humanity." What’s surprising (highlighted by an IANS report) is that even though there exists a patent for Meta Company in 2016, there already exists a 2015 trademark listed for Meta with the owner listed as the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Meta (formerly known as Facebook) is yet to release a statement in accordance with these allegations.
