In a recent Christmas message, the commissioner urged local bishops to arrange a united thanksgiving prayer for the town. Juba City Mayor Overturns UAP Insurance Closure Juba City Council's Mayor, H.W Flora Gabriel Modi, has reversed the recent closure of UAP insurance company by her Deputy Mayor for Social Services. The decision was made due to a dispute with national staff and their termination. Mayor Modi argued that proper procedure wasn't followed and UAP is an international company outside their jurisdiction. She urged the National Ministry of Labor to handle the ongoing disputes between UAP and its national staff.
