1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am originally from the Republic of Panama, I am a plumbing engineering tech , I was working on tower one of the twins tower on 9/11/2001 we was doing renovation from the 80 to the 88 th floor on that morning the guard was requesting a burners permit from the fire department which I didn’t have and he refused to let me up I argued with him back and fourth with no luck, I was forced to contact my office to inform them of the issue, as I was running the operation we had 21 plumbers including the company owner son , he was a brat very spoiled, I was told to go to the American Express building to do some work while working there with my partner listen to the radio morning show the phone ring some one called saying oh my God a plain just collided with one of the twins towers the back drof noise was like a godzilla movie screaming during ambulance fire department so I thought these guys from the morning show they play too much imitate the end of the world the Martian are coming, then half hour later there was a nother call similar to the other saying a nother plain just collided with the towing tower two so I told my partner less horry up to see what going on , when we got to the security guard he had a 8 inch black and white tv showing both plains incrustated in the twins tower My partner and I luck at each other thinking of the 21 plumbers including the company owner son we left over there, I said there is no way that they made it but the owners son been the crew up that he was save the day ,how you ask, well you see we have policy in place for effective work and at coffee break normally we have the youngest apprentice do the coffee run he takes every one’s other and when he returns we all stop and have a 20 minutes break , the because I was not there he took it on himself to decide that they all will go down for coffee it takes a hour to get down and a hour to get up , so while waiting for the elevator to go back up the building shook when the first plain hit tower one so they all manage to escape with no scratches but do to the fact that the cell phone antenna was on the twins tower all communication was lost what save the day was the nextel walkee talker so they was able to contact the company and inform that they made it out safe, when my partner and I when outside they was miles of abandoned cars running with the key on radio playing is was truly like the end of the world, I was forced to walk to the 59 street bridge and a kind man drove me over the bridge out of Manhattan where my wife came and picked me up, when I got home and turn on the TV news they showed people jumping out of the twins tower to escape the burning fire it was the saddest thing to watch.
