Wilder Expeditions

Deep sandy tracks North of Khaudum National Park, bumpy ride but so much fun to drive. - Video by @wilder_images on our Namibia Botswana Zimbabwe Expedition. - Wilder Expeditions | African Adventure

Almost drove straight past these 2, they were resting only 15 meters from the side of the road and just seemed to blend in until they were pointed out. Makes me wonder how many others just drove past them that day ... and how many sightings we miss when we are out and about? - Picture by @nicky_g_s on our Namibia Botswana Zimbabwe expedition. - Wilder Expeditions | African Safari

Came across this wild dog who appeared to be separated from his pack. It kept calling out head low to the ground, then lifting head up to listen. - Video taken by Nicky our Namibia Botswana Zimbabwe Expedition. - Wilder Expeditions | African Safari

Last post of this leapard... just got so many good angles of it. Picture by @wilder_images on our Namibia Botswana Zimbabwe Expedition. - Wilder Expeditions | African Safari

Cant get enough of this Leopard. The eyes. The whiskers. Brings me back to that afternoon sat in the 4x4 watching her occasionally flick her tail in mild irritation that we were hanging around so long. - Picture by @wilder_images on our Namibia Botswana Zimbabwe Expedition - Wilder Expeditions | African Safari

This was such a satisfying leopard sighting. So often they slip away into the bush at the first sign of people. This guy just hung around watching us intently... managed to take loads of photos... got a few more to come. - Photo by @wilder_images on our Namibia Botswana Zimbabwe Expedition. - Wilder Expeditions | African Safari

Caught these ostriches napping... apparently they sleep laying down, and can look alert with their eyes open while in deep sleep! Can anyone verify this? ... please comment below. - Picture by @wilder_images on our Namibia Botswana Zimbabwe Expedition. - Wilder Expeditions | African Safari

Such a picturesque setting: Wattled crane at home in the Okavango. The Okavango Delta holds the highest concentration of these birds which are at risk of becoming extinct! - Picture by @wilder_images on our Namibia Botswana Zimbabwe Expedition. - Wilder Expeditions | African Safari

Besties: zebra look so adorable when they rest their heads on each others shoulders. Picture by @wilder_images on our Namibia Botswana Zimbabwe Expedition. - Wilder Expeditions | African Safari

Ellies playing at waterhole in Khaudum National Park. There is practically no water in Khaudum during the dry season. The park has a few water holes along the omaramba (dry river beds) which are fed from a borehole. The ellies love to place their trunks over the water pipe, causing a jet of water to spray around 🐘🚿 - Picture by @wilder_images on our Namibia Botswana Zimbabwe Expedition - Wilder Expeditions | African Safari

Really lucky to see #wilddog 3 times on our last expedition. They are so hard to photograph as they blend really well with the shadows and it throws the camera's auto focus and object recognition right out ... got to do it manually if you want a good image 🥵. More practice needed! - Picture by @wilder_images on our Namibia Botswana Zimbabwe Expedition. - Wilder Expeditions | African Safari
