Are you looking to help end food insecurity worldwide? Consider volunteering at the Grenada Community Fridge! Roles: Driver: Do you own a car? As a driver you will pick up items from IGA and drop it off to the fridge in the morning to help the team get ready for distribution! That’s it! You can feel free to stay and volunteer if you want or just help with pick up (which is a big deal)! Distributor: Once we have all of the food that will be donated that week, we need a few hands to help separate the goods evenly for the persons who will come to collect! If you like to get involved using your hands and greet people, this is a great job for you! Organizing: Do you love to organize? Do you have a special knack for tidiness? This may be the role for you!! After distribution, we need to organize the fridge to prepare it for the following week! THE TERM REPRESENTATIVE is responsible for sharing all GCF events to their respective SAS, SVM or SOM cohort via group chats, Facebook and IG stories! The EVENTS COORDINATOR plans innovative fundraising events to gather donations for the operations of the fridge. They coordinate the team to execute the event, contact and work with the GCF Outreach Administrator to secure certificates and donations for the events. THE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR Assists the directors with partnerships, outreach projects, and ensures other roles are being fulfilled in a timely manner.
