Blue Horizons Garden Resort

Day 7 - Beginner & Advanced Bird Watching 🐦‍⬛ On Sunday, we set out to explore the 160 beautiful species of birds found in Grenada with expert guide, Vaughan Francis. 🕊️🐦‍⬛🦜🔭 The morning started with our Beginners Class at Blue Horizons Garden Resort for an unforgettable Conservation Conversation and birdwatching tour where participants learned the basic foundations to birding, how to efficiently use their binoculars, about the various bird species around the property, and why birds are important for conservation of the planet. In the afternoon, the Advanced Class took us on a tour of Grand Etang and Mt. Hartman Bird Sanctuary to discover migrants, endemics, and rare birds all within this stunning Caribbean paradise. Even Vaughan Francis was impressed by how well the birds were working with us doing our expedition as we spotted almost all of the birds on our list. 🤗 #DCFGrenada #PureGrenada #EcoTourism #Conservation #BirdWatching #birding
