How is this even real 😍

Buddha was born in present-day Nepal. There are many Stupas (temples) you can visit. This one in particular has great views of Kathmandu and is full of monkeys, eagles and pigeons. Walking clockwise around a stupa represents following the path of the Buddha and accumulating positive karma. It’s a meditative and devotional act.

Himalayan mom in Sikles, in the process of making Selroti.Selroti is a traditional Nepali homemade sweet ring-shaped rice bread, often made during festivals like Tihar and Dashain. It's deep-fried, slightly crispy on the outside and soft inside, with a mildly sweet flavor. The batter is made from rice flour, sugar, milk, ghee (or butter), mashed bananas (sometimes), and flavored with cardamom or cloves.
