Lejre @sagnlandetlejre Day 4 Thomas was visiting Danmark from the Galápagos Islands and wanted a little souvenir of his trip. Thomas lived in New Zealand for 10 years and has a large collection of Ta-Moko and Tatau, so there wasn't much room left. We added a couple Ship helleristninger and a Sunwagon around the outline of the Galápagos Islands on his chest. A great day talking about our travels... tattoos we've collected and the artists who made them. Now I have another destination to add to the Bucket List 😉 Bon Voyage ❤️ #handpoked #petroglyphs #helleristninger #bronzage #nordictattoo #thesoundofonehandtapping #skinandboneunplugged #skinandbonetattoo #colindaletattoo

Lejre @sagnlandetlejre Day 2 I tattooed Sif's mother a few years back at Lejre... now it was her and her aunt's turn. Sif wanted 2 hearts which were drawn for her on birthday cards sent by her grandfather... so all the wobbles are intentional and more meaningful. I tattooed her Aunt Tanja afterwards with Yggdrasil the Tree of Life. This is a more modern pattern which often seen in jewelry and embroidery patterns, so I am only the craftsman on this one. We used some dotwork shading where the spirals go in and out of each other as well as fading out in the roots and branches. Thanks for the trust ❤️❤️🌳 #handpoked #hearts #yggdrasil #treeoflife #nordictattoo #nordicmythology #vikings #vikingstories #dotworktattoo #thesoundofonehandtapping ##skinandboneunplugged #colindaletattoo #skinandbonetattoo

Ran into an old client at Copenhell who I tattooed almost 30 years ago. At the time there were less than a hand full of artists doing handpoking and no one to learn from. We just did blackwork petroglyphs with homemade 7Mags and Pelican Ink at the time. I did do a little dotwork in the Shaman's Drum on his shoulder... followed by a row of smaller figures down to a Sunship on his forearm. Bold will Hold... looks like it should, even after 30 years of Sun & Fun Thanks to Michael for dropping by to show it off 🙏🏼 P.S. I'll be attending Tanum's first Bronze age market @tanumworldheritage @vitlyckemuseum this August if anyone wants a petroglyph design handpoked at the site they came from 😉 #handpoked #nordictattoo #petroglyph #helleristninger #sunship #tanum #vitlycke #colindaletattoo #skinandbonetattoo #skinandboneunplugged

Finally home again after Copenhell 2024 😀 When Morten Skovgaard first put me on his guest list in 2022 I never imagined that 2 years later I would be tattooing at the event. Special thanks to Mark @stoumann and Frederik Stouman @frederikstoumann for the invitation to Udgaard and Thomas Priskorn from Mjødgaard @mjodgard for the company and nightcap every evening before tucking me into bed 😉 Attending multi-day events has always been hard for me. At conventions I have my booth that I can retreat to... at Viking Markets and Copenhell I had my tent as a safe space. The bonus of this was, that even though I didn't know where people where... they knew where I was. I was really surprised and touched at how many friends, clients and other tattooists dropped by to say Hej ❤️ I had visits from Jesper Mann @jespermannklan Janni Roest Sørensen @ta2janni and Lea @leakronjetattoo , Sean Kien Raun @sean.lifetime , Frank Mothe and even had time to see a few concerts with Uncle Allan @unclea who was up from Berlin and I haven't seen since Covid. Unfortunately when working an event you see alot less than when just visiting, so despite not getting to many concerts the chance to see so many good people made it all worth while 😉 I also haven't seen Sort Sol since Loppen in 1991. Seemed rather poetic to be hit by a warm misty drizzle while listening to Sort Sol sing "Liquid Sky" as their final number to close Copenhell this year 🖤🔥 #Copenhell #Udgaard #nordictattoo #handpoke #picks

Blood God Mask Thanks to Jake for making the pilgrimage from Vinland to Scandinavia to do this inner arm sleeve. Jake is a Professor of Religion and has the Summer holidays off... so aside from the tattoo he was also doing about 260km on the Camino de Santiago as well as visiting the Basilica de la Sangrada and several other religious sites in Spain and Portugal all while writing a new book over the next couple of months. Bon Voyage #bloodgodmask #nordictattoo #nordicsleeve #nordicmythology #viking ##vikingstories #dotworktattoo #skinandbonetattoo #colindaletattoo

Elias had some Runetext and a Vejviser on his forearm which he wanted continued and transformed into a full sleeve Nordic dragon. We continued the evenly placed bands spiraling up the arm and onto the chest... now we just have to add some more Runetext and dot shading before he is deployed in December. Thanks for making the trip over from Sweden 🙏🏼💙💛 #nordictattoo #nordicsleeve #nordicdragon #nordicmythology #vikingstories #skinandbonetattoo #colindaletattoo
