I have filmed this recipe so many times and God know I will weep when I post it and it flops

Me looking at all the dms asking for recipes for everything I post.

Was listening to a podcast about cultivated meat yesterday and they brought up a point I think vegans don’t talk about enough: the human cost around animal agriculture. From the people working in slaughter houses, to those losing ancestral land for industrialized meat and/orexperience environmental racism because of animal agriculture. Yes you can make an argument around fruits and veggies too but you rarely hear this topic in the ethics of veganism, just a focus on animal welfare.

I don’t know any culture in the world that uses the word please more than Ghanaians. Sorting out my ghana passport today and I am sure I said “please” and heard “please” more than any other word

One thing that makes me upset is going to a plant forward restaurant but some foods are still not available for vegans. Like what was the point of stopping halfway, Gia? 😭😭😭 vegetarians can eat vegan food but vegans can’t eat all vegetarian food. would love to see a vegan option for the vegetarian mains too 🥲

I am here to share my testimony on how I survived the strong grips of robusta coffee yesterday Yesterday i was filming a coffee video and consumed a decent amount thinking I will be okay, even though I knew what was coming. Mind you, i am also an irregular coffee drinker. In a few hours, I was buzzing with energy, a little bit more anxious; worse of it all, I couldn’t sleep. I like to sleep at least 8 hours and the coffee robbed me of my beauty sleep. Will I drink the coffee again? Of course!

My source of immense pain and joy

My mother: whatever I can make myself I will make Then proceeds to grow a forest. For context I am 5.10 or 177cm. The tomato plants are almost my height

The internet has blessed me with an amazing network of West African foodies. @9jafoodie sent me the best package a west African food could ask for 🥹🥹🥹 miyan kuka with tuo is on the menu this week 😋😋

Went to AfroFest today, spend more time in the car looking for parking than at the festival because people were stealing parking spots only to enter to get overpriced vegan food and kelewele for 15$. This is about 3/4 of the kelewele too 😭😭😭😭😭

The girlies said I should get a library card but now all the books I want to read are not available. Back to indigo I go 😭

I have a feeling I might have more plant based options at this wedding than I will be allowed to get for my traditional Ghanaian wedding 🥲
