Salem Beiruti

I had the honor to be part of this beautiful and historical event, celebrating this joyful moment from Madrid to Springfield Massachusetts, specifically at Rebecca Johnson School. I’m proud to share with you the designs I created to honor a dear person to me, costume designer and oscar academy winner @therealruthecarter. The mural design is a combination of sketches from my work, some elements were based on other artists work, re-created by me to match and fit with the composition and my sketching technique. Of course, my favorite moments were when I was sketching Ruth’s portraits!! The mural tells a story about Ruth, as a young creative girl who pursued her dream to become a great costume designer and the winner of two oscars. I am grateful, proud and humble, thank you Ruth for giving me this opportunity to see my work placed in your hometown. Thank you for giving me the chance to create history with you, I will remember this moment for the rest of my life. ♥️ Special thanks to @common.wealth.murals team for their effort to put this work on the walls. You guys are simply amazing! Congratulations!! ♥️🎉 Salem

Wakanda Forever is the first movie I worked on as a concept artist. And guess what? It won an Oscar last night for Best Costume Design. Congratulations to dear @therealruthecarter for winning the Oscar, you did it again, it is well deserved!💛 Thank you @stacy_r_caballero for being the best support and guidance for me during this wonderful adventure. Congratulations to the entire team for the great effort, we are all winners. I’m celebrating here and so proud and happy. Here to art! Here to more success. 🥂 #marvel #wakandaforever #oscars95
