Islam is a religion in which faith is based on clear proof. It encourages people to use their God given intelligence to think and ponder over their life and the universe. Although this life is a test, God has provided sufficient signs and guidance to people who are open-minded and sincere to be able to acknowledge the truth. Unlike other religions, there are many clear proofs, signs and miracles that the book of Islam, The Quran, is from God. Islam's timeless and beautiful message is the same message of all Prophets, including Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them all). They all called their people to "Submit to the One True God" which, in Arabic, means to become a "Muslim". This submission to God enables one to fulfil the purpose of life by acknowledging the greatness of God and sincerely worshipping him alone. In doing so, one will acquire the countless benefits of Islam. Who is God? • God is One and Unique: God has no partners, no equals and no rivals. God has no father, mother, sons, daughters or wives. God alone is worthy of all worship. • God is the All-Powerful: God has full authority and power over all things. Obedience to God does not increase His Power, nor does disobedience decrease His power. • God is the Most High: There is nothing above or comparable to God. The attributes of God do not resemble that of His creation. No part of God is present in anyone or anything. • God is Perfect: God does not have any human limitations, such as resting on the seventh day after He created the universe. God always maintains attributes of perfection and does not do anything to compromise this perfection such as "becoming a man" as claimed by other religions. God does not do ungodly acts, so if God became man and took on human attributes, he would, necessarily, no longer be God. 🌱 Share to benefit others! 🌙 Follow @emanboost for more reminders!

(swipe) ⭐️ Beginners Guide: How to Pray … ⚡️Prerequisites of praying: • Ensure the area is clean and free of impurities. This includes your body, your clothes, and the place of prayer itself. • Perform wudu. You must be ritually pure before you go start praying. If you're not, it's required to perform Wudu "ablution" before you do. If since your last prayer, you have urinated, defecated, passed gas, bled excessively, or fallen asleep deeply, you need to perform wudu. • If you are praying in a masjid (mosque), which is highly encouraged for men. • If you are unsure of the cleanliness of your area, spread a mat or cloth on the floor for good measure. This mat (or prayer rug) is very important to Islamic culture. • Perform ghusl (full shower) if needed. Certain circumstances will require that you perform ghusl instead of wudu to be cleansed after removing najas (impurities) and before praying. If you wish to pray after having sexual intercourse, ending your menstruation period or postpartum bleeding, giving birth, having a wet dream or ejaculating, you need to perform ghusl. • Perform tayammum (dry purification) if needed. If a Muslim is unable to use water, he or she may choose to perform tayammum instead of wudu or ghusl. This rite involves using clean soil or dirt or a natural rock that has not been used before to perform tayammum. • Face the Qibla. • Pray at the proper time. The five prayers of each day take place at very specific times. The five prayers are Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha. They are at dawn, afternoon, in the mid-afternoon, at sunset, and at night, respectively. They are not at the same time each day, as they are timed by the sun, which changes path throughout the seasons. These are the amount of rak'ah (units) for each of the 5 salah: Obligatory prayers: - Fajr prayer (2 units (Rak’aat) - Duhr prayer (4 units (Rak’aat) - Asr prayer (4 units (Rak’aat) - Maghrib prayer (3 units (Rak’aat) - Isha prayer (4 units (Rak’aat) • Cover yourself. Men and women must cover themselves with material that covers the skin throughout the prayer. Follow @emanboost for more. Every night I hear you cry. When I finally manage to fall asleep, I still see your nightmare in my dreams. As you call out to the world that ignores your genocide, know that there are some who hear your every shout. I stand and I pray feeling unworthy. Then I remember that it’s not about me, but about you and He who hears us all. And so in the morning again I will answer your call. I will cry with you until you cry no more. And bear witness for you until we meet our Lord.
