It has been so hard and she has been in and out of hospital for 2 weeks with dangerously high blood pressure. Anyone that knows the stats of child birth in rural Africa will know how worrying this is and how brave she has had to be. ⁠ ⁠ Brilliance has been able to draw money from the company to get to the best possible hospital to care for her. This is thanks to her having a career and thanks to the lodges of the South Luangwa who band together to run the life saving Medical Fund. Brilliance has also had huge moral support as the whole team checks in on her daily. It's easy to overlook the power of this, it's easy to forget that having a job in rural Africa can come down to life or death.⁠ ⁠ We are so grateful that you love our work so we can add value in this way.
