国籍を変更することは決して簡単な決断ではありませんでした。夢を叶えるために多くの犠牲を伴いました。私の決断をサポートしてくれる人もいれば、私の決断を理解してくれない人もいるでしょう。 しかし、これは私の夢のためです。私たちはキャリアを重ねると共に年齢を重ねます。また、どのくらいの期間プロバレーボール選手としていられるか分かりません。私が今わかっていることは、家族のために、夢のために、私を信じて支えてくれている人のために、神から与えられた才能を信じて私は全力を尽くすということです。 このプロセスは決して簡単な道のりではありませんでした。最初に、私の人生におけるこの大きな決断の機会と祝福を与えてくれた神様に感謝しています。 第二に、夫と家族全員に感謝しています。彼らは、このプロセスにおいて困難で多大な仕事があったにも関わらず、私を支え続けてくれました。私の夢を実現するために、彼らは多くの犠牲払ってくれました。 第三に、私の地元チームChery Tiggo Crossovers Volleyball TeamのBoss Romel、Ma’am Ada、そしてフィリピン協会会長のSir Tats Suzaraさんに私の夢におけるプロセスに対していつも揺るぎない愛でサポートしてくれたことに本当に感謝しています。 第四に、数々のプロセスにおいて私の夢に向けて親身にサポートしてくれた日本バレーボール協会と大阪マーヴェラスにト感謝します。彼らの助けなしには、この大きな挑戦と同時にトップリーグで集中してプレーすることは簡単なことではありませんでした。 第五に、日本語学を学んだJLRCに感謝したいです。ここで、私は、日本語を難なく学ぶことができました。JLRCの家族の一員であったことを幸運に思います。彼らの助けがなければ、N4試験に合格することはできませんでした。私が忙しいスケジュールにもかかわらず、私への調整と忍耐を示してくれたことに感謝します。 そして、私を支えてくださった、またこれからも引き続き支えてくださる皆様に感謝申し上げます。私の旅路は、帰化申請が終わったばかりでこれからも大きな挑戦と困難が立ち塞がるでしょう。でも、私は私自身の夢のためにこれからもひたむきに努力を続けていきます。 皆さんは私の旅の一部であり、その愛と支援に心から感謝しています。今、私は日本国籍を取得しましたが、私の心、血、マインド、魂は、これからもフィリピンで生まれたフィリピン人です。それを忘れることは決してありません。私の名前は、Alyja Daphne Santiagoで現在は蓑輪 Santiago幸です。これからも応援していただけると嬉しいです。みんなありがとう！

Changing one’s nationality is not an easy decision. It requires many sacrifices to achieve your dream. There are people who will support you, but there are also those who may not understand your decision. However, this is for my dream, because we are not getting any younger, and we don’t know how long we’ll be in this field. The only thing I know is that I will do everything for my family, my dream, and for the people who support me and believe in the talent that God has given me. The entire process has not been easy. But first and foremost, I am grateful to God for giving me the sign, the blessing, and the opportunity to be in the situation in my life that I am in now. Secondly, to my husband and our entire family, who have not failed to support me, even though it has been difficult and there have been many jobs. They have sacrificed a lot just for me to achieve this dream of mine. Thirdly, to my local team, Chery Tiggo Crossovers Volleyball Team, Boss Romel and Ma’am Ada, and to the Philippine Federation, Sir Tats Suzara, for being supportive of my dream. I really appreaciate your unfailing love and support in this journey of mine. Fourthly, to my old team and new team, JT Marvelous, for helping and supporting me throughout my process. Fifthly, to the JLRC, which has served as my school to learn the Japanese language without any difficulty. I am very fortunate to have been a part of the JLRC family. I wouldn’t have passed the N4 exam without their help. The level of adjustment and perseverance they have shown towards me, despite my busy schedule, is amazing. And to all the people who have supported and continue to support me, thank you very much. All of you are part of my journey, and I fully appreciate all the love and support. Now that I have already obtained my Japanese citizenship, in my heart, blood, mind, and soul, I am always a Filipina who was born in the Philippines. And I will not forget that.
