one month of c, xoxo 😭 c, xoxo is a diary entry in the lifelong journey to live a life that is authentically and boldly and joyfully signed by me …..it is unbelievably hard. and it has been unbelievably vulnerable to do it out loud and put out this album and see it be received with love and care and also vitriol and skepticism but i keep learning the same lesson love those who love you seek those who seek to understand you give them all of your time and care and energy and celebrate with them c, xoxo was the album i needed to write. it’s the world i needed to create and live in, and it’s got some new characters - YOU. 😍 thank you for being a part of this story for everyone who’s come up to me saying they love a song please know i try to look into your eyes and say thank you and hope that you know how much i mean it more to come . 🩵 yours, cc, xoxo

one of my favorite moments of this whole process was walking in the studio at 1 am with BD because i forgot something and seeing @elguincho in the studio by himself jamming out like a little kid working on the drums to dream-girls 😭 he was like a kid in a candy store 😭 thank you for believing in me since the first moment we worked together, for your genius, and for being the best partner in creating this album 🥹 @jasperharris you are truly special at what you do.you have put every ounce of your talent and your passion and energy into this and you both amaze me i am so lucky to work with people who are so good at their craft and make me better at mine also @danielaged for coming in and sharing your sauce 🥹 @aaronshadrow ily brother thank u for being a part of twentysomethings and PWIC. @boi1da we finally got one together🥹💘💘💘 @bschoudel big daddy who recorded a million bad ideas to get to the great ones - you are the best at what you do and most importantly you make it so that i can relax enough to be myself and play 👧🏻 @mixedbyjoncastelli for mixing these songs with the most love and patience and care 😭 you are our hero. I’ve been doing this since I was 15 years old it’s very easy to lose your mind and i have a few times but my fans have been there beside me, loving me, rooting for me, and caring for me through it all thank you for staying i am lucky that our connection runs as deep as it does lucky that you know me like a sister that you love me like a friend i won’t describe our relationship as anything other than love i am thankful every day for the most loyal, fiercely loving people i have ever met and not met yet i have seen many of you blossom from who you’ve been to who you are becoming our coming of age stories are forever intertwined and in the book of my life thank you for signing your names over and over i will forever sign my name in the book of your life with the most care and tenderness c, xoxo 💘
