A day in the life of a restaurateur-the mothership Mowgli Bold Street donates her original Indian cart wheel to Mowgli Beverley because it’s just the right size for her little sister. Meanwhile I do a full menu super tasting session and cocktail check. What a chore eh! Then a talk on Leadership talk for the fantastic at @commsrebel in Manchester- my message is basically “to lead is to serve. Then home late to check on the runner duck eggs and then mindlessly unwinding with singalong Frozen with equally knackered daughters and nieces - all of us old enough to know better but don’t judge us 😁🙈- ahhh the simple things ARE life ❤️

Dearest Mowglites- I need your help please! Many of you have asked for a super quick smash and grab lunch tiffin and so, as I build Mowgli for you, I’m working on an “Express Lunch” - a 30 minute lunchbox roulette for £15 - our chef puts together each lunchbox to include chat bombs and rice. Do you like the following names “ Express Lunch” for the lunch menu and Office Tiffin ( meat and veg) and Temple Tiffin (meat free version) - Im not sure about “Express Lunch” as it just doesn’t feel very Mowgli- any ideas you have that eclipse this and make the menu then it’s dinner for 2 on us! What do you all reckon? Would love your thoughts x

Every morning every spice is popped, every dish is cooked fresh in Mowgli, and you can see from the caption from Cardiff how proud our teams are of the fact that our restaurants smell like my mums house-we serve the food that my family eats, and we welcome your children and your dogs. This means we cannot possibly be everybody’s cup of tea. But it also means reassuring consistency, because after nine years and 900 employees, for me Mowgli is NOT work. Mowgli is an extension of life for me and my family ❤️

A day in the life- in Mowgli Chambers for a day of meetings with our fabulous bookings and events team… and Goose and Dave… home to a Korean Chicken and Black Mushroom dish my daughter made- yes proud of our role reversal and her cooking skills - the beach after many many months as I need to find my health again please god and our Indian Runner Duck eggs arrive for us to hack into chicks and then become part of the ever growing Mowgli Menagerie! -so exciting! Are there any Runner Duck fans out there- we are about to join your ranks xx goodnight all and I hope you too can slowly find your health 🌹

Congratulations to our sweetest hearted, happiest spirited, backbones of brightness and rectitude - The Mowgli Finance Team- for winning Finance Team of the Year at the NW Finance Awards last night. These are the people that sit above us as guardians of the purse strings to ensure everything we do is filled with financial integrity as we run eagerly towards our goal of enriching lives in the cities we go to. !!!!!!!The Mowgli Dog Show KLAXON!!!!!!-by coming to this event you raised £91,000 for the families of Claire House Children’s Hospice. Give you and your dogs a pat on the back and put the Mowgli Dog Show back in your diaries for next year! Many people gave their time to make this event, not least those of you who made those epic fancy dress costumes- you are ALL winners in my eyes!
